Does this anime have a legacy?
For me it was one of the (if not the) best anime that aired the last couple of years but it seems that nobody really seems to care.
The industry is still doing the same shit,
people were impressed but eventually moved on and watch the same stuff as before.
I thought that it could breathe some fresh air into anime but nothing really changed.
It does have a legacy; it ran on the Noitamina block before the timeslot was cut in half.

It was great but it wasn't anything revolutionary. We have tons of sports anime and the only thing that was really different about Ping Pong was the art style
