Yes, recommendation thread.
Largely ignored movies for long time having not watched any moden movies aside from Disappearance, Redline, Paprica and Detective Conan movies. Most movies based on TV anime are irredimable shit, so pretty much stopped watching after end of OAV era.
However recently watched Your Name and Silent Voice and loved both so feeling like watching some more recent (2014+?) anime movies.
However is there actually anything worth watching at all?
Looking forward for Shafts "Fireworks" and thats about it. Is Kizumonogatari worth time spent? Anything else interesting and well made in recent years? As said - 99% of movies based on TV anime are crap - so no "SAO, Planetarian etc" stuff. Exception would likely be KyoAni movies, but most of them 2018.
Your opinions of:
Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan wo?
Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita?
Anthem of the Heart? (Okadas "Silent Voice for poor"?)
The Case of Hana and Alice?
Anything else worth mentioning?
