I'd like to say that she just showed up too late... but it's also because her choice in gunpla wasn't that amazing. It looked nice and was cute, but if she had gone with, say, a Nobel Gundam or the Woundwort, she would've gotten more hype.

GN Portent was just a generic Celestial Being Gundam, in a series that already had quite a few of them already. Even GN Archer would've garnered her more attention.

The Island Wara OVA is one of the worst things I've seen come out of gundam. It took everything that was awful about TRY compared to the original (the hortible love triangle, romcom harem antics, Sekai wanking, particle bullshit, etc) and dialed it up to 11 and gave it more screentime. The majority of the OVA is the girls bickering over Sekai and getting jealous of a 5 year old followed by a shameless ripoff of the final Mock battle royal from the first season and then the super powerful gunpla they built up as being super good just sit backs and beam spams while the MC randomly combine their gunplas powers to somehow summon an SD God to beat it.

Literally just skip to the end for milf Aila. You won't miss anything in the OVA itself.

In terms of pure creative designs honestly Try was better than BF, its like the one thing it didn't screw up. A lot of BF's designs were basically just slight recolors with a couple of details tweaked but with basically the same armaments and gimmicks as the original ms. Try had things like gyancelot, Tryon 3, THE END, and the EZSR team.

Unless you put the paint on really thick (Which looks like ass) the paint will not really cover the panel, and if the part shifts or separates at all with handling it will reveal it. With thin plastic cement you can typically erase most seams by glueing the parts together and letting the melted plastic bead up between the seam, then sanding it flat. For everything else there is putty.
