Even though Rave Master fumbled a lot after they took down King, it was still fairly enjoyable. I think it was so much better purely because the characters had tangible goals to work towards.

Bleach has better character designs, women and it always felt like Tite Kubo wanted to draw something that just looked cool instead of believing it was a work of art or anything.

I think people expected more out of Bleach so they were more disappointed. I know that's the case for me.
One thing to note is that out of all of Naruto's arcs, three were good (not counting Chuunin exam because the interesting things were lifted from the Hunter exam); Zabuza, Rescue Sasuke (whatever the official name was), and the one where Shikimaru gets revenge for Asuma. While there was a nearly unbearable number of shit arcs, the total number of good ones still trumps Bleach's two (the beginning stuff, and Soul Society).

Bleach has the benefit of a strong start before descending into shittery for years, Naruto on the other hand has been a consistently mixed bag. I would actually recommend to somebody to read until the end of the SS arc, however I wouldn't recommend any part of Naruto, even if Naruto is "better" when all chapters of both manga are considered. Fairy Tail is unreadable

As for style and flair, I think he can deign cool characters but he's bad with architecture and backgrounds, he should look into becoming an artist for a game company, because he's great at drawing cool shit.

I wonder if people realize that Las Noches is not supposed to be a populated, extravagant palace. It's design and concept fit the theme of Hueco Mundo. That picture is a good comparison, if what it is trying to convey is different modes of architecture. But if it's trying to say "hurr durr Kubo is shit because Las Noches is not Konoha" then it is bullshit.

That said, Kubo does have a problem with actually drawing backgrounds. Even in the Huevo Mundo arc it worked because of the setting. Beyond that, it is unforgivable.

I love One Piece but I feel like the amount of detail put into the setting sometimes feels like I'm trying to hard to focus on everything. I think it's the black and white nature of manga. The colored versions of One Piece feel easier on the eyes because I can clearly see what belongs where.

Ok, you can, but FT did not reach that point. And I doubt it will.
And while i think that out of those three FT is the weakest one, I still like it more than Bleach, mainly because I find the setting more familiar (close to classic western fantasy). Also FT does not take itself that seriously (most of the time) so I count that as a plus (although a lot of humor is hit or miss). Storywise, they all go downhill after certain points, so no one really wins. And characterwise... I guess I can find characters I really like in all 3 of them, as well as those which I find just 'meh'. What I didn't like in both FT and Naruto is making the protagonist an idiot hero. There are a lot of things you could do with characters with given background, I just can't see the appeal of making them complete morons.

Naruto and Bleach both had their ups and downs but was were still capable of telling good stories in their prime.
FT is shit, but was exellent fapping material, and had the chance of being better if Mashima developed other characters a bit more. Such as the MC's fucking brother or his best friend. The MC was a bland character in which the whole point of his character is that he could overcome everything with the power of friendship.

I don't have any real problems with Naruto, though it's also been a long time, and I only got 50~ episodes into it.
Fairy Tail is terrible in regards to storytelling, action, and world building (the latter being FT's most understated problem; the bland, poorly developed setting is at the core of why FT is bland and poorly developed), but the character antics are fairly fun.
Bleach is a snoozefest.

If Bleach had given us a proper final battle, explained the whole Soul King deal and shown the missing characters in the final two chapters instead of leaving it to the novels then I would've put it above Naruto to be honest, but Kubo fucked up.

On another note, I honestly don't understand how anyone could put FT before those two; Naruto and Bleach both have arcs that are held dearly by majority of their fanbases before they went to shit, FT has none.
