The people who talk about it being a masterpiece are idiots, it's great but there's still some issues. There's less inconsistencies like Giorno's hand but there's still a ton of dropped plot lines and awkward pacing. The good bits are more than enough to redeem it though, there's a reason it's so highly regarded. And there aren't really any more inconsistencies like Giorno's hand for the rest of Part 5, and there are very few in 6 as well.

There aren't a lot of genuine asspulls that are also egregious in this series, a lot of stuff like Jotaro stopping time aren't as spills but just poorly foreshadowed. The most recent one in memory was Josuke's liver and Norisuke's arm during the Damo fight, they healed magically after Damo dispelled Vitamin C but not for Josefumi and Kira. Given it's place in the story Araki clearly didn't want either of them to die or suffer lasting damage so he knew they'd be fixed afterwards but it just feels lazily done. To be fair Josefumi and Kira were propelled away from Damo who still had Kira's liver in his pocket, while Josuke walked over to where Damo dropped his and physically retrieved it, but it still feels a little off.

That's not an asspull just unsatisfying. It was known for like 35-40 chapters before it happened that whoever controlled the Arrow would win. And even after Giorno got the Arrow it still took another 3 chapters to beat Diavolo. The term you're looking for is Deus ex Machina, which are often asspulls but not always as GER shows. Doesn't mean it's not kind of boring though.

He can avoid literally any attack, the only reason he didn't capitalise on it more was because he was autistic about people seeing his face even if they were going to die immediately. There's still ways around it but they require the other combatants to not die instantly after an erase, which was exactly how Diavolo used it. He's also see most of their tricks coming because Epitaph, so they'd need master level keikaku to predict how he'd change his actions in erased time based on his own prediction, which might be going too deep.

Honestly, while I thought I was going to hate him, Abbacchio being the only character that didn't get some hamfisted 'WOW Giorno is so great, he's so much better than Buccellati' internal monologue made me appreciate him a lot more.
Araki really dropped the ball on making Giorno genuinely impressive so hearing other characters sing his praises was grating as hell. He handled it much better with Jolyne and Johnny.

It was a followup event of the anime ending, kind of like what they did with "The Last Crusaders" and SDC.
There were two halves to the event.
The day half had a couple of concerts with the various bands and singers as well a voice actor event with the main cast of DiU.
The night half had a widescreen setup to show off something later. They did more stuff with the VAs and ended the event with a reveal of the new exhibition for Araki Hirohiko's works that will be shown off in Sendai next August.

Yotsuyu said that the earthquake was a level three based off of Page 14 of Ch. 53. Normally we'd use Richter scale to get an easy result but Japan actually uses a different system for earthquakes.

So to get our results of Joules from the peak ground acceleration, we're going to have to figure out a minimal size of Morioh. In Ch. 1 Page 14, Morioh is described as having a 3 kilometer center. Luckily we get a map of Morioh in the volumes, so we can actually get a measurement off of that.
So by magic MS Paint, I measure it (you can see it on the red line in pic related) and get a result of 146 x 34 line (it'll tell you the dimensions of your line if you didn't know), and by Pythagorean Theorem magic I get 149.91 or 150. Divide 3 by 150 to get 0.02 kilometers per pixel.

I got a line of 1030 x 65, which using the same shit for before gets me 1039.5 or 1040. Multiply that by 0.02 to get 20.8 kilometers. Using a circle area calculator gives me 1359.18 km, and condense that into a semicircle to get 679.69 km^2.

They didn't realise Buccellati had died yet, they were back off to the colosseum to help him but only Giorno heard his soul telling him it was all good as it departed. Basically Requiem is some kind of entity that lives in the Arrow (the one with the Beetle pattern, the others that have the hole through them can't do Requiem) and possesses Stands to evolve them to the next level. It grants the power to dominate souls to anyone with the will to control it, which Polnareff lacked and was compounded by the fact that he died at the time it was summoned so it was set free. The only way to beat Diavolo's hax ability was to have the ability to dominate his soul, and the final battle was all about trying to get the Arrow before Diavolo did and got Requiem to turn King Crimson into something even worse. If someone like Polnareff manifested the ability to switch souls between bodies then switch those souls with the souls of aliens once the whole world was affected, then there's no telling just what kind of insanity Diavolo getting it would have unleashed. Giorno had the willpower and ambition to control it, but the restraint to limit it's ability since he didn't want to keep climbing higher and higher like Diavolo but instead just make the world a better place. As such, when he got Requiem the ability it granted him was much more targeted rather than something with range or global, it was the ability to literally just say NOPE to anything, including souls. He hit Diavolo with a beam of Gold Experience's life energy which brought him under Requiem's effect, meaning every action he'd take would then be undone immediately, including erasing time (of it's own accord, Giorno didn't control it at that moment or know what it could do).

It then beat him nearly to death and left him in the river to die, but because even his death has been undone he can't die and every time he SHOULD die he gets booted to an alternate dimension or whatever where he is then killed by fate in some other cruel way to try and find one tha stuck, but of course it never will. Diavolo rejected fate/reality and wanted to beat it, so fate and reality rejected him and he'll never get an ending. The flashback chapters at the end revealed that Buccellati, Narancia and Abbacchio were all fated to die before the story begun, because in JoJo fate is decided before we're born and set in stone. There's no way to change the outcome, but we have control over the context. Giorno made Bruno feel alive again and constantly gave him second chances to continue going on, and he used those chances to try and make Italy a better place by taking Diavolo out of the picture so someone better, ie Giorno could take over and make things just that little bit better, and he was happy to die for that. Mista didn't quite understand what the fuck happened at first, but after Buccellati's death and the final battle he realised what it meant and that Buccellati had chosen to give his life and death a meaning by fighting for justice, rather than dying like an animal on the streets and being forgotten. The message being that bad shit is inevitable and will undoubtedly happen to you at points during your life, so instead of trying to change it since it's impossible you should try and do the best you can in spite of it.
Araki was pretty depressed while writing Part 5 and it kind of shows despite the overall hopefulness of the message, but he took a nearly year long hiatus afterwards and came back with Stone Ocean, which handles the same themes way better and has a much better finale, in terms of themes and also the battle itself despite being really fucking upsetting.

Yes. It took a while but he got there. Characters like Lisa Lisa and Erina were decent but got sort of 'othered' because they were female. In Lisa Lisa's case she was hyped up to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but then jobbed whenever anything important happened and was mad under-utilised. He didn't attempt many major female characters again until Trish, though he said he designed Yukako specifically to show that girls can be intimidating and effective villains too in response to the increasing amount of moe and treatment of women like objects or plot devices in his eyes back in the 90s. Trish was done well but also under-utilised, but with Part 6 he'd finally cracked the secret of writing female characters; there really isn't all that much difference between male characters and you approach them almost identically. Since then he's been one of the better mangaka at female portrayal in the mainstream, though Part 7 was dry on vaginas and if the two major female characters, one only developed much towards the end after a lot of setup and the other was dropped during the train chapters because SBR's second half was rushed despite being God tier. JJL has tons of great female characters though.

He wrote the characters so he probably has more insight into what the fuck was actually wrong with Diavolo's head. Also he has a really powerful presence and every time he and the crew crossed paths someone died, save the first encounter with Buccellati but he sort of died and then died a second time in the final fight again due to Diavolo. He's not one of his stronger written villains like Pucci or Valentine but he sure does have a commanding presence. As for Shigechi I have vague memories of him mentioning off hand that he's based on ro reminds him of a friend or someone he knew during his youth, but that might just have been someone spouting bullshit or me remembering shit wrong.

Yes, but he only had brief moments of it before part 6.
Enya is a legitimately fun, effective and generally good character. She's not the most complex character ever, by any means, but she was shown in a variety of situations - a smug, creepy advisor who DIO respected, a grieving mother, a lonely little woman, a brutal and sadistic fighter, a funny old bitch and finally a sad, betrayed old lady dying cruelly.
Yukako was efficiently creepy and funny as a villain, and in her (small) role as a protagonist she was kind of funny and not too bad.
Trish was an enormous step back, though. She had the biggest reasons to be an important character, and ended up being a (barely) talking Mcguffin. He openly admitted that he only did Notorious B.I.G to give her something to do. She's barely better than Lisa Lisa.
Part 6 gave us the most developed and best JoJo up to that point, as well as Hermes and (sort of) F.F. And the interactions with the female inmates were good too, it was just a shame that the minor enemies of 6 weren't very memorable compared to the other parts.
Part 7 had two important female roles, Lucy and Hot Pants. Lucy was Trish done right, I'd argue, in that it was much more satisfying to see her go from a scared little girl to a calculating and merciless strategist who didn't balk at murdering Diego herself. Hot Pants was fun and interesting and it was criminal that her story ended so poorly.
Part 8 has a bunch of interesting female characters, with Yasuho, Kaato, Hato and Karera all showing loads of potential. Even Holly is more interesting, and Kyo and Daiya might be able to redeem themselves too.

The Shueisha scans (and the videogames) showed Pucci's skin as being pretty dark. Anon clearly used that as his reference. The artwork in question also seems to have been done with colour pencils, so it's possible that Anon simply didn't have a shade of brown pale enough not to trigger you.

I like Jolyne quite a bit, but saying she's the most developed Jojo from the original universe is wrong in my opinion. She definitely changed the most on the surface, but I found her character arc as lacking and basic/in your face

Nope. At the start, Jolyne was much more aggressive and self-centered, and had no sympathy for any of Pucci's goons. And sparing the life of a monster that murdered at least five people is absolutely not your 'typical justice trait that every JoJo has', use your brain.
And reread the posts you're quoting to try and make yourself look smart. She earned their respect by becoming a stronger and more independent person instead of being a victim. And it's also not 'every JoJo ever' by any means. Jotaro was a comrade and a friend to his group, but he wasn't a leader or source of inspiration. Neither was Josuke.
The fact that you apparently got hardly anything out of her story doesn't mean hardly anything was there. And like I said, the claim that 'the only character-development she got was Jotaro-related' when that was wrapped up by the second fight is absolutely ridiculous. Jolyne is a character who spent most of the part interacting with her friends (and Pucci, to a lesser degree), not Jotaro at all, who she also didn't obsess over. It's as stupid as saying that Jotaro's development is all about Holly because she was his motivation.
