Your eyes are going to hurt from looking at what you make if you've never done GKs before. Think back to the first time you've tried literally anything. Were the results satisfactory? Averaging the GK and pre-paint prices from 2-3 sites and it was not a question, I assume I am going to find pre-paints somewhere if I search long enough, but a GK would be available right now and if you had any convincing arguments why it would have been good for me, I could have bought it without searching.
But you confirmed my own assumptions so I guess it is back to searching and hoping.

If you wait long enough depending on what you're looking for a manufacturer may pick it up, mass produce it and make it readily available but sadly lots of GKs slip through the cracks and never see commercial paint. While you're searching you should probably also be looking for people you can commission to build and paint the kit for you. That's probably still going to be more than an additional hundred Eurobucks but it's your most likely way to get anything outside of gitting gud and painting it yourself. The process of getting good would be time consuming and cost more than the extra hundred too, however.

That sucks but if you managed to put out decent 28 mm figures I'm sure you can paint 210 mm ones just fine. /a/-related figures can even look fine with zero shading contrary to tabletop armies. The only tricky part must be the eyes since they are often not sculpted, but many GK seem to come with pre-printed transfers for them.

I think the general consensus is that the DHR6000 is a better product overall, it's far more expensive though. At the end of the day though, a pillow is a pillow and it serves its purpose. I've never had any problem with mine being uncomfortable.

I've never used Buyee BUT have ordered many many times from yahoo auctions. The basic process is this:

- transfer money to the proxy through their website
-browse ya and find what you want
-send them the link and a bid
-they place the bid and your funds are deducted
-lose and the funds are returned, win and you are charged for the bid and shipping
-when the item gets to their warehouse you can select it and have it shipped

Basically, you pay for everything upfront and you'll have an account full of yen with which to place bids on things, which is then subtracted from again for shipping to them, and again for shipping to you.
