It didn't even matter at this point since they already discovered who Altair was and came up with a plan to stop her independently. It felt really weird how the hype music started playing when they were talking in the hospital room and kept going for close to a minute, fast tempo and strings and all, even though nobody was really saying anything that hadn't been said before or were taking a long time to say the stuff the viewers already figured out, and there were no particularly dramatic visuals to accompany the music. It didn't really fit the scene until after something like forty seconds when Selesia gets her closeup.

Outside of shitty LN adaptions I have not seen an original take so much time to have the characters literally sit down or stand up in one spot and move every 10 minutes in order to explain plot. Clean version of the Spinoff manga

I'm not sure if the halfway point was the best time for Souta to reveal his guilt in what happened to Shimazaki. And stretching his monologue out over two episodes probably wasn't necessary. If he'd been shown to struggle more with his guilt complex earlier in the show, then he could have made the reveal to either Mamika or Meteora, and then he could just briefly reiterate it in the hospital so that there could instead be focus on advancing the plot. Magane pretty much already spelled out how what he'd done and how he felt, and his emotional response was shown in detail, so in these last two episodes he hasn't really added anything substantial to what had already been established.

There's only so many minutes in an episode, and this series is wasting a lot of them.

They basically want to create one of those cross over mash up fighting games, that are at best considered semi canon.
Also all of them except the bot are not even on the level of city busters and now they want to give them power ups to that are accepted by the fanbase to make them equal or stronger than a reality bender.
