It's implied he's his descendant, yes. Last drama cd implies L-elf is leading M77 (which goes on to become the empire). We don't know if he took on any sort of royal title, though, that could have happened later down his line.

That's too bad, I really enjoyed it from start to finish. I figured the second season would drop off because they usually do, but it was consistently good all the way through.

I've had fun with it, start of season 2 was a bit boring compared to what a wild ride season 1 was. Really liked the character designs, mainly the eyes. ERUERUFU was best boy

First season was good, second was shit. Sunrise rarely does sequels for its more original shows, but I'm pretty sure they won't ever visit Valvrave again. The world of Valvrave wasn't THAT interesting to be honest and killing off most of the main characters killed any hype for any sequel.
