The thing is that they both are like children, and both act like mentors for the other. Elias literally doesn't get why what he does is wrong in human eyes, actually he did it because he thought it was the "normal" thing to do. I have one big complaint about the backgrounds, and it's that it seems like much of it is painted over 3D assets, giving it a sterile, inorganic feel that doesn't blend well together. Much of the shading reminds me of 3D escape games, like the pot in the front. It's out of place compared to the painted tree on the right (some of trees in the back look off as well, but it's not distracting).

Yeah the manga PV looks way better and had excellent color harmony overall (purple/yellow of the Oberon&Titania cut is my favorite). The house in the cap you posted takes on the green hue of its surroundings and blends into its surroundings better than the one in the anime.

Yeah the forest library is definitely CGI, the details are much cleaner compared to the surrounding greenery.

I guess my big issue with the use of CG assets is just how neat&straight the old and worn objects look. I like to dwell on comfy shots that don't look as nice as they could thanks to the CG. You could say it's too edgy for me.
