Senkuu hears them and rushes to her after Shishio disappears. He tries his best to lift the tree and save her. She is moved by his actions.

I have some studios in mind, bear with me.

BONES - As a studio, they've shown that they are not afraid to adapt any kind of character design into animation, it's actually one of their trademarks. Neverland has some of the most unique designs you can find even in manga and this would fit BONES's portfolio perfectly. Another strong point for BONES has been their amazing manga adaptations, sure they usually shine because of their action anime, but they've never been afraid to experiment with all kinds of genres. You might say, but they do original endings, well, they've been moving away from this recently and it seems like in the future they're going to avoid them. Another thing that favors BONES is the fact that their anime usually have very vibrant color palettes and that's something that Neverland really needs.

WIT - They've made a name for themselves by adapting AOT. Then they went on to adapt Seraph of the End that has similar vibes and themes to AOT. They can have striking visuals and vibrant color palettes if needed. Neverland also has a similar type of setting and similar vibes to AOT.

Production I.G could also be a good choice, along with MAPPA.

I see people throw around Madhouse, but Madhouse aren't what they used to be any more, I wouldn't trust them when it came to adapting this unless they got a stellar staff.

I also see people throwing around Shaft, but I just don't think it would work out with them all the way. Sure, it would have your typical Shaftisms, but Neverland needs more than that.

It's true though, at least the early parts of AOT the manga. To simplify it, the kids also literally surrounded by walls and want to escape, they want to experience the freedom of the outside world. The way the kids are currently living might be nice and comfy, but eventually death will come for them, it's the same in AOT. There are a lot of mysteries and dark secrets surrounding them. Oh, did I mention the human eating monsters?
