This show used to be on the time warner "on demand" channel in 2006. Nostalgia.

I don't know why they interlaced their BDs but assume one can make a pretty good 1024x768 version with a bit of filtering.

Back in the day, before I got into fansubs, I thought this would be a shounen fighting / adventure type of series,
because I had only seen the show's opening back then. I've always wondered what dark Shinobu's story would have been like,
because she never actually appears in the show other than in the opening.
Imagine if they made a spin-off series now, that is basically a non-parody version with the same characters, with some tropey plot about our heroes fighting some powerful villain.
But younger audiences these days have shit taste, so I guess that will never happen.
