New CMs are released:
I kinda like how they are giving more masculinity to the characters in general. Of course Mahmut is still a fuccboi but at least now you can believe he's someone who'd lead a fucking army.
now i wonder anime Mahmut could pass as female...
There are several doujins about SnA but they haven't scanlated yet
Mahmut holds Pasha title (aka Governor-General) while Arslan is nobility
SnA doesn't any magic besides gunpowder and it involves lots of politics, espionage, and battle tactics and strategies
>How does this show compare to Arslan?
Both MCs are fuccbois and named after Turkish rulers crossover doujin when?
He's still solid, though, yeah I'm not expecting him to create something special as Tsuioku-hen again. I really like Shoukoku no Altair manga but the adaptation has no hope even with Furuhashi since it's coming in a year when MAPPA decided to go nuts and crash and burn. And it's two-cour, done consecutively with second half of Virgin Soul and Kakegurui. By the times September comes, MAPPA will be in flames.
To be fair, there is a legend of a gray/white-haired prince being born in persian eran in the heroic age. Read the shahnameh you faggot. He was thrown away by his father and raised by a giant eagle, then returned to Persia as a hero king.
Arslan is more fairytale inspired, Altair is more gritty. Arslan has a "cleaner" feel. Altair's art looks goofy at first. Altair desu has a better story, but I think Arslan has better characters. There's also Persia versus Turkiye, and ancient versus Ottomon age.
>both have trap MC
>both have swordfighting
>both have TACTICS
They're both good.
>He was thrown away by his father and raised by a giant eagle, then returned to Persia as a hero king.
Heh now that you mention it Mahmut's surname Tughrul is the name of the founder of the Grand Seljuk Khanate. And his name is reference to some legendary eagle in Turkic mythology. His successor Alp Arslan, the one who ruled Persia and opened the gateway of Turkic conquest of Anatolia after Battle of Manzikert who is also considered as hero.
So yeah, Shahname more or less influenced by Seljuks but i get your point the story being mainly a Persian
>Mfw pottery between those Mahmut and Arslan
D O U J I N S W H E N ?
he making this a trend now
The author should be ashamed of herself.
There is gonna be another manga that Ottomans involved in
This time they are baddies it seems
Mappa ain't that rich off of Yuri on Ice if they are not even in the production committee for it. It's the same as saying Shaft is rich off the monogatari series or even Madoka which we know isn't true. All that money is going to the production committee. The studios only get good publicity out of it, but that is about it.
What's up with the nips creating so many manga/anime set in the Ottoman Empire/Turkey? Don't get me wrong, I love it, because it's a farily unexplored setting in pretty much any medium, but it's starting to catch my attention lately.
Nippon and Turks are close buddies now.
Erdo is trapfag and he ordered author to draw crossdressing sheningans
