Meanwhile, I'm over 30 and my choice has still been Eri. I wouldn't know for sure, but I think if I was in highschool, I'd probably have not gone for Eri, but I also remember that I was cynical about people who were too good at everything so I also probably wouldn't have chosen Yakumo back then. Instead, I'd probably have chosen a meek girl, like the megane that likes Hanai.

Yakumo deserves it more I think, but for that entire thing about Harima finding some sense of selfw-worth through being a mangaka (and her role in helping him with this) basically being dropped. I mean, if it was Harima helping Yakumo out to that extent and then Yakumo ended up with someone else people would probably be crying about NTR.

Eri's probably more developed a character overall though I guess, it's hard not to like her more.
