I mean it's on average 14 eps per day. It's only 5 hours. I was sleeping 8h and going to the gym as always. Also skipped school this week

Anon, assuming you get 8 hours of sleep a night (big assumption I know) you have 16 waking hours every day. Watching an episode of anime takes 24 minutes.

So, out of 60 x 16 x 7 = 6720 minutes in a week, you spend 24 x 100 = 2400 watching anime. That's 35.7% of the TOTAL amount of time you spend awake. Just think of all the stuff you could do in that time.

It's even worse when you consider that the overwhelming majority of anime is irredeemable garbage. You're never getting those hours back anon.

You're right. OP here, I normally watch around 50 eps per week but I had huge craving for anime this week. Also for me it's not only mindless hobby because for every completed anime I write a review. English is my second language and I found writing reviews a really good excercise
