Resident bonefag here - MD 421 II or a Cascade Fathead are my choices [ribbon mics are sort of fragile though, but they're the best option if you're a classical player]. You'll need an external sound interface to use them, though as they use XLR connections.

It's ok. Wind instruments are literally the easiest instruments because of how easily you can find notes. Work your way up with the fingering, and you'll find the next note. Literally any instrument that can only play 1 notes are baby tier - including Saxophones, Clarinets, Flutes.
