I honestly really loved the atmosphere in the story. It's a comfy, silly SoL tale about trainee soldiers smothered in a renewal of appreciation of peace and the value of life following the devastation of the previous war. Yet that doesn't come to the forefront as a topic (until the PTSD flashback episode), but instead as a strange nagging in the back of your head.

I'd just love to see more of the Takemikazuchi in action. Or at the very least more art of it.

That does remind me there is this one guy on Twitter that I follow that is currently working on some art of the spider tank. Here's a bit of it, it's a work in progress but it looks pretty good.
