Is it worth watching /a/?
only for Ragyo
>>158162266
It's not like your time is worth anything.
Fuck yeah. If anything, watch up to the first major fight against Satsuki. I think you'll be hooked.
Honestly this is one my favorite shows ever. Im sure you're gonna have people on here say it sucked but I think most of /a/ really enjoyed it.
It started, and finished very strong, but I found the middle to be rather lacking.
>>158162266
Only for Nui
>>158163770
This. Kill la Kill was awesome.
>>158163209
This.
>>158162266
If you aren't a whiny bitch yeah it's pretty awesome
>>158162266
Hell yeah. I think it starts off really strong and manages to keep that good streak going through most of the season; it only really starts to drop the ball during the final few episodes. Otherwise it's hype as fuck, has some very likable characters, and some humorous, cute, and lewd moments dashed around. It's one of my favorites.
>>158163209
Harsh but fair.
>>158162266
DON'TLOSE YOUR WAY
Too childish for me.
>>158162266
Until the timeskip, yeah. But it's probably better to just pretend they beat Ragyo there and stop watching then watch the rest of the show, though.
>>158162266
>Is it worth watching /a/?
Yes.
Animation is amazing
>>158163951
That's a lot better than the start and middle being strong and the ending weak
>>158162266
Only if you watched less than 3 Imaishi shows. Otherwise his recycled ideas and constant self-sucking might start getting to you.
>>158162266
Very weird and over-the-top, but I liked it lot.
>>158162266
Has its good moments, has its weak moments.
Especially the first half feels sometimes like an aimless battle of the day anime.
Definitely, it's possibly one of my favourite anime of all time. There are some bits with it that should be taken with a pinch of salt (like where they purposely use shitty animation for comedic effect) but the fight scenes are great, all the characters are well developed and I can guarantee it will have you hooked
Yeah. It has many flaws but it's enjoyable.
Satsuki a best
>>158168099
>too childish
>posts kiddie shit
I got pretty far into it, but lost interest when theevil clotheswere revealed. That was too fucking silly for me. None of the characters really clicked with me either. I still haven't finished it.
It looks similar in style to Gurren Lagann. Did the same staff work on it, or something?
It was so fucking cringe
>>158172114
yes, the staff that worked on TTGL left and created Studio Trigger which created this show
i for one am enjoying it
>>158172325
I honestly enjoyed KLK way more beyond the fan service, and wasn't even really distracted by it while watching. The porn is still top notch, though.
DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAAAY
Yeah watch it, it's fun as fuck
>>158162266
I watch it when it was still running and was pretty hyped for new episodes and speculation. The ending was somewhat meh though, too much copy-paste TTGL 's first season ending and Satsuki was pushed to sideline.
>>158162266
Definitely worth watching, but similar to TTGL it has a strong start but gets shittier and more retarded as the show goes on
It's a solid 7, I only wish there was more of Satsuki's ass
>>158162266
It's short, and you miss so many references if you don't, it's worth watching.
All the really extremely popular shows that aren't more than two cour are worth watching, even if you don't enjoy them.
>>158168125
>But it's probably better to just pretend they beat Ragyo there
That's stupid.
>>158162266
Great show but just like TTGL the start is fucking amazing and the ending is too over the top and ends up being sorta-shitty
>>158162266
it's like a 6/10 at best and anyone who says otherwise probably enjoy the company of their same gender in matters of sexual intercourse
Nothing makes fucking sense in the story. The way fan-service is introduced is ridiculous and the plot is all over the place.
>>158171944
>shitty animation for comedic effect
I still can't believe the amount of retards that rageposted about these gags endlessly when KLK aired. It was fucking baffling, even when explained to them numerous times they still felt that posting a gif of the funny animation joke would somehow derail a KLK thread.
>>158173476
>Nothing makes fucking sense in the story
Maybe you're really dumb.
>>158173498
Both sides are retarded.
Yes there are many instances of budget animation used for comedic effect, but somewhere in the second part animation starts becoming shitty in a non ironic way.
YES YOU C U C K
>>158173680
Ryuko a cute.
>>158172117
>cringe
You need to be at least 18 to post here.
>>158174051
Ryuko a GOAT
How does it hold up on rewatch? I haven't seen it since it ended but I remember enjoying it a lot.
The first Satsuki fight was the peak of the series.
>>158174719
But episode 5 was the best and the prettiest episode of the show by a mile
>>158174719
It wasn't even the best Satsuki fight.
15 > 3 > 21 > 12 > 18 (if it counts)
Peak of the series is episode 18, it has everything.
>>158174628
I liked Nonon most in the show, but Ryuko has the benefits of being the MC and having cuter fan art.
Absolutely
It's fun all the way through
>>158162266
Still fun. Overhyped and overrated, though.
>>158174954
If anything it's underrated.
>>158162266
Yes
>>158174933
Ryuko's my favorite but Nonon's a close number two, she'd by my favorite in any other series.
It was a fun ride.
My neuron say this is totally nothing reality nonsense crap. but I can't stop watching every time. It has brutal story power.
>>158162266
Yes.
