oda is really good at thinking things through in advance, things like jinbei were mentioned a decade before they were shown. he has the entire series already planned out, so you don't get bullshit like Kubo / Togashi / Kishimoto others often pull since they ran out of ideas.

toriyama gave 0 fucks about plot, his choreography and characters are awesome but his worldbuilding is pathetic.

Fishman Island was pretty fucking terrible.

I wouldve said that it got worse after the timeskip, but the current and last arc are really good.

Dressrossa was too long and poorly executed at times.
Funny thing is Oda had planned to do 2 separate arcs, one Doffy and one dwarves, but decided to fuse both to fasten the pace of the manga.
In the end the arc suffered from too much shit going on and Oda having to rush things to end the arc 'in due time'.
