it was fun to watch yu-gi-oh subbed for the first time

This movie was my first time watching YGO in Japanese. English dub Yami was actually really good, scripting of the dub overall aside, but holy shit listening to Kaiba scream every line throughout the duel even from the first DOROOOOAAA was an incredible experience.

Atem was the only duelist who ever beat him and Kaiba never had his chance to defeat him fair and square because he simply left. The entire movie was Kaiba focused so much in Atem while ignoring Yugi who is his descendant and giving him some years to develop, he will replace Atem so the duel between Kaiba and Yugi, Yugi was going to beat him as a way to prove that the rival he was looking for was standing in front of him but he can't simply wait for Yugi to become Atem
