Well the god hand are all supposedly on a different plane of existence, very high up in the astral plane. Presumably if one were on the same plane, they could fight the god hand and void. The fact that Griffith merged the astral world with the real world makes me think that the God Hand may not be completely untouchable anymore.

Who's to say that by merging the planes they can't be touched? They couldn't be touched in the real plane simply because they can only project their image through a medium. So when someone manages to do what guts did to slan they had to touch the medium only and couldn't touch the 5 themselves since they were in two distinct realities. Now that those realities are the same, I'd say they could very well be touched since they're physically right there.

If there's anything I can say about Berserk 2016/17 CGme is that it definitely desensitized me quite hard to CGI like you but I didn't get bothered by this episode any more than by other shitty ones really.
Anyhow the only reason I'm really watching this train wreck is because ultimately it's still Berserk and Miura's writing and story simply carries this shitshow regardless.
If I ever became a bilionaire I'd dump as much of that money as possible into full 1:1 adaptation of Berserk, entirely 2D, with Madhouse doing the work.
