TTGL and Lucky Star split the board in half, then there were A LOT of really good shows also airing: DTB, Lovely complex, set no hanayome, dennou coil, bukurano, (at the time, hayate), monster princess

As really solid shows. I guess 4 in one season's pretty good, least compared to recent.

Sure didn't feel like it at the time, but there were indeed a lot of good shows.

I still like Lucky Star. A lot. It is what really ignited the modern moe scene; K-on simply rode the wave.

That is pretty excellent honestly. Maybe.

It's hard to choose between the seasons. It was the best year of all time for anime.
