James Cameron directing, and I hard of this in the works sense Speed Racer was a thing. That movie was awesome, and did an anime adaptation right. The GitS movie was a indiscriminate tragedy using material to a mass audience to stupid to handle it dumbing it down to hogwash. Not to mention horrible casting with ScarJew being the worst heroine in history.

I will hold my rage until I see some set stills, plot themes and casting calls in costumes.
