I'm not entirely convinced she has figured it out. It's strange they had an episode that made it seem she was on the verge of figuring it out, and then it never came up again for several episodes - episodes in which:
1) Diana decides she's leaving Luna Nova, possibly for good
2) It's made clear Diana is still a Chariot fan
If she'd figured it out, she would have surely confronted Ursula before she left, she wouldn't want to miss the opportunity.

If she has figured it out and left the school leaving this unresolved, that's bad writing, I think. And if she was that close to figuring it out but still hasn't made the final leap after all this time, that's bad writing too, I think, especially considering how smart she's supposed to be. The only decent way to resolve this is to have Diana confront Ursula in a flashback, but I'm not sure I would be fully satisfied with that either, it'd feel like a cheat.

In all seriousness though, I had been waiting for Ursula to go full red chariot mode more than anything. I ended up being dissapointed with how that scene actually played out. Seeing Diana show off some genuine positive emotions has been my highlight of the show so far. Her water summoning scene was also 10/10 and has stuck with me more than anything else in the VAHOROWA episode.
