The animation in this movie was honestly lackluster. It's not like KyoAni movies are anything impressive but I was at least expecting something like Kyokai no Kanata or Haruhi. This looked cheaper than even the Keion movie.

Honestly, at this point I take this feeling as a sign that what I saw was a good film.

Definitely made me want to be somebody else with a different life. But it's better to take the main lesson of the movie and to not give up on life. Even if happiness will probably never come.

Yeah because it didn't fix the trash manga ending, they just chickened out and ended it at an earlier point.

I love all the minor details in the film. All the small movements that make the film feel alive.
