The amount of hiatus shows that Miura can take as long as he wants without rushing anything.
After they are done with Casca, there's not much left though. They're going after Griffith, maybe get some allies in the way, and it's done.

Just like that, Guts is going to Falconia, slap Charlottte's ass, slice Griffith up and there's nothing you can do about it.
Maybe Griffith being a proud arrogant guy like he is, he would want to have a "fair duel" with Guts, since in their last duel Griffith lost. And then it's going to be too late when Griffith realizes that Guts might actually kill him if he doesn't use his space-bending powers.
When Griffith tries using such powers, Guts' son who fused into Griffith manages to stop him for a second; giving Guts the chance of landing the final blow against Griffith.
I came up with that in five minutes while sipping tea, I'm sure a talented guy such as Miura can do better.

Guts made it clear in this scene on the boat as to what he intends to do after Casca is healed. Casca isn't going to want revenge on Griffith. I think that's what Skull Knight meant by his warning.

Taking into account the relatively small amount of time passed on manga time and all the series of events; the ascension of Griffith, the build of Falconia, the trip across the sea and all the political turmoil in the Berserk world (fall of Ganishka), and taking into account all the apocalyptical hints of Griffith being a figure like the antichrist, makes sense that some kind of opposition is set against him and his army of demons. And it'll be important that the main leaders in that faction were his old comrades (Guts, Casca and Rickert).
That's because i think Casca will want revenge in some way, the idea that she craves Femto's dick it's funny but i wouldn't make sense.

That wouldn't make sense, he went beyond humanity to fulfill his desire, the concept of God is so above everything and it's so indifferent to the world around it that even the God hand dying and recreated later in much later time doesn't matter. The focus in all this it's that Guts being so small and insignificant changes the flow of the causality struggling, and eventually achieving some of form of peace and happiness eve if it's momentary.
