Everytime a character is more liked that EMA Isayama kills that character.
Yeah, what I´m saying is that you killed Erwin.
Do nips even like EMA as characters and not just just for fujo Armin bait? Reddit is literally the only place I know that genuinely likes EMA and considers them interesting or well written.
I'm having a bad day. Post cute Annie pictures.
>eren using his superior height to intimidate levi
that was cold as fuck and i loved it though i think eren should've pushed further but instead he turned into a toothless beggar right after this. what a shame.
>tokyo ghoul ended and btfo fujo yaoi shippers
>shingeki no kyojin will end with mikasa winning the erenbowl and btfo fujo yaoi shippers
No one will have a happy ending.
No one will be officially paired off.
Everyone will die.
The entire series will end in absolute despair for all parties. Think the final episodes of gundam z but a whole lot worse.
he is going to change his mind and go back to it when he realises that every other option is shit
he probably came to this realisation already and is tricking people so they don't expect the despair ending and it's still a surprise
I bet there is but the people who normally would've scanned and translated it ragequit after serumbowl
>No one will be officially paired off.
That´s stupid, it would be deeper and more impactful it there were official pairs, they are not in high school, they are soldiers and they live in an old fashioned way.
It´s one of the reasons why I would like to see a series with real actors ala Game Thrones with Shingeki no Kyojin, I would like to see more interactions.
i want zeke, reiner his kids and especially annie to all die
i hope annie just stays in her crystal and just dies inside it completely forgotten by everyone else, no one even comes to retrieve her body and bury her or return it to her father, it just sits down there locked away, a skeleton inside a crystal forgotten but not missed like tears in rain
Because they're on EMA's side.
If you like a character, and any of EMA is compromised over their well being, then you bet your ass said character is gonna die.
Anon. Isayama checks the screenplay, writes some lines himself, has to approve of everything or at least agree with it and this season it was worse since he even supervised the performance of the VAs.
>If you like a character, and any of EMA is compromised over their well being, then you bet your ass said character is gonna die.
That applies to nearly every single series with an established group of main characters
>Isayama checks the screenplay, writes some lines himself, has to approve of everything or at least agree with it and this season it was worse since he even supervised the performance of the VAs
Not him, but sauce?
His latest interview from April and the radio talk show with Connie and Eren's VA where they comment they were nervous this season because Isayama-sensei showed up during the recording session to say "this is the feeling you have to go with". I'd post source but i'm on my phone right now. I'll post it eventually though, so please be patient.
>Anon. Isayama checks the screenplay, writes some lines himself, has to approve of everything or at least agree with it and this season it was worse since he even supervised the performance of the VAs.
Explains why this season is even more homo.
The real action heroes interview about Levi's squad he mentioned helping write the screenplay. the translation is on tumblr.
There's also this instance when a fan asked him "Erwin seems serious, but in the anime there was this scene where he used boku* (sorry, I'm not sure) so he's also got a playful side?" And Isayama asked Araki, I think "hey, when did that happen?" They talked over it and remembered Erwin said that when he was taking to Hange, Isayama then said "ah, since it was with Hange it's okay".
There are many comments about Isayama having an awful lot to do with the production of the anime. I'm sure if you Google it you'll find it, there was this one saying "everything, from the faces of the titans from the way the rocks fly, is discussed with Isayama" and the fact he met twice a week to check on the production during the making of season One.
Now it's worse since he meddled with the VA's performance.
Isayama has no chill.
Although he looks like a bitch, Galliard's eyes tell me that he's gonna be either the last of the deaths or the first
Berth not including in the equation
An Annie a day drives any sorrow away!
Annie every day is a blessing, but a bad day is still a bad day.
Anon, listen to this
A simple search on google can confirm all I say is true. Interviews and magazine articles. Comments from the staff, come on anon.
I think you'll have to provide sources after all. In his April interview he says he's been involved in the production somewhat, provided manuscripts for some scenes when asked and suggested some changes, and that he can't to see wait how they turned out.
He said he was only particular about the way the AT/CT reveal (I think-he said a scene from volume 10 where a character confesses) was going to be handled but wasn't too annoying about it.
Isayama met twice a week with the staff, anon. It was even mentioned once that to have a mangaka so involved in the production of the anime was unheard of.
Listen to this.
think about the children...
It sounds like he came in one day to help explain some thoughts to the cast, to make sure the emotion was right. That was it. Yes, he is more involved than other mangaka but I don't understand why people think that means he has final say with everything. Like the anon above you mentioned, he said he couldn't wait to see how things turned out. Doesn't sound like someone approving of everything.
I can see how he can successfully disguise as Historia.
Anon, it's is explained that even characters like Connie, that didn't have much to say during certain episodes, were given pages after pages of information regarding their feelings at the moment. Isayama showed up at the beginning with Araki, and then later on as Yuki says "he came today" To mention "this is how the character is feeling" and because of that, Yuki could really feel the love both Araki and Isyama have for this work.
>he said he couldn't wait to see how things turned out
That's how it is for most collaboratives works ever. Since it's not something you're doing alone, to see the characters act and the animation once is finished is a complete different feeling. Come on anon, at this point you're just being obtuse.
As a YH fan for me the ship was killed off(in really retarded way) and a widow after one year can move one if she would want with anyone, even a rageturd like Eren.
But I doubt it, Mikasa is too important to not make her romanctic wishes as last Asian female to be dumped by Isayama.
So Eren only girl will be Mikasa if any.
I'm betting Historia married Flegel.
He was a consultant. He got to help on the project, but he wasn't in charge. This does not mean he got a say on every little detail and approved of every change made. I just don't get why people seem to think he had more say on things than Araki.
Reminder that all the warriors died as virgins
Because it is a collaborative work, anon. Isayama's mentioned the anime has changed his way of thinking. Not only in regards to Eren's character, but as an author. He didn't like the drama in chapter 22, but as he discussed with the staff he learnt that sometimes making changes and adding new stuff is necessary for the narrative. He then added some scenes to make it even more dramatic.
They both work passionately on this, and Araki is acutely aware of Isayama's feelings and intentions regarding this manga, and works hard to portray it as accurately as possible with his help while adding elements that ate necessary for all adaptions. This is because he's aware of how 'important" this work is, and the cultural impact it has. This was a comment he made in an interview last year.
Why do they keep shilling for Sasha x Armin. What's gonna happen to my nigga Connie.
Learning from others and compromising is still not the same as approving of every change. I know that Isayama said he was influenced, but then why is the anime and the manga so different in how they show the characters? I'll continue to prefer the manga, I guess it's as simple as that. Until Isayama comes out and literally says he approved of things like Berserk Eren or has it happen in the manga, (like Jean being a dick to his Mom clearly came from the OVA) I'll accept the manga as canon and the anime as just an adaption.
If you have a sauce for him showing up 2 times a week to help with production though, I'd still be interested in seeing it.
Erwin was even worse than EMA.
>commander, what should we do in a critical situation
>I guess we gamble and sacrifice soldiers
>what the fuck, commander?
>don't interrupt my creepy smiling at dad childhood trauma, you got your orders
Reiner and Zeke are Jewish traitors who ally themselves with Germany instead.
This is actually sad, but sucking dicks when not only money is on the table is important. I don't remember any mangaka being open about how he disliked an anime adaption of his work. At least Azuma is honest about Yotsuba.
Well that's mainly because Isayama admitted he failed in showing character's relationships and ambitions, so he's using the anime to exploit that. Hence, characters might seem different to you than their manga counterparts. The anime is in a sense Isayama's improved work. And about the weekly thing, please wait a moment, I'll look for it.
Only Reiner and Bert will receive hate, Reiner especially. Annie will get a lot of sympathy even though she only objected to having to be the one to take Marco's gear and not that he had to die. It'll probably bring a resurgence of the dumb redemption nonsense for her from the anime crowds.
Trying to fix things in the anime is interesting but at the same time a big mistake. But for a monthly manga it makes sense. But as any adaptation, the writer/script version and how the director makes a scene can differ.
Gabby is a disgusting whore, I wonder how mindbroken she would be if she actually got Reiners memories
Translating literally, Isayama said he's been involved in the anime 'a little'. He says he's looking forward to the anime as a viewer. You've been claiming a lot of things he's supposedly responsible for and the only thing we got was that he showed up one day at a recording session. Writing notes for the VAs is part of the director's job. I could see him doing that much for episode 6 though, since he wanted it portrayed in one way and not another and even checked the screenplay for it. Isayama himself told us the extent of his involvement with the anime in the latest interview and it's not even close to what you were saying.
He said he got to feel the characters better now that they existed outside his head. He also said in the chuugakkou interview that being there during the production of some anime scenes made him realize it was fine if others perceive his characters differently than he does.
Of course there are some things he wanted to change, hence the suggestions he gave to the anime team. But that doesn't mean that every single change was his doing or that he gets the final say-the director should be the one responsible for that, though from Araki's interviews we also know he leaves some things to the anime staff.
And a big part is just manners, and common sense. Isayama was even polite with the Shingeki live action director, despite the awful version and the poor tantrum thw guy had later.
Reiner couldn't protect Marcel, Annie, Bert or even himself, his only role is to suffer
>bodies of titans are formed through the paths
>shifters can regenerate their normal bodies and not just the titan ones, meaning they should be able to generate their normal bodies through paths as well
>paths transcend time and space
Much as I hate it, regular time travel should be possible.
What would you do with your own personal young Historia?
Why did they make Ymir's Titan form so fucking ugly when she's pretty qt as a human? Annie and Eren both look like Greek gods/goddesses in their forms but Ymir is a fucking golem
Could you also translate this one, please?
>like Greek gods
Don't be butthurt, you know she ain't. And using Isayama's art isn't fair considering Erwin is supposed to be a handsome aryan god but he just ends up looking like some ogre in the manga.
Ymir is NOT ugly
stop saying that she's ugly because she's NOT
Sorry for the delay. My internet connection was beyond shit.
You can google any of these quotes and you'll find the source. And keep in mind this was for season 1, season 2 has isayama as involved as ever so it's only gotten worse
>Fan question 2: Let's talk about the mangaka of Attack on Titan. How does the cooperation with him work? Is he involved in the creation process of the anime?
>Answer: During the time of one year, Isayama-san visited Wit Stuido every two weeks. This normally doesn't happen very often. But thanks to this close collaboration the anime was so well done. From emotions to animations - Everything was discussed with Isayama-san.
>Wada met up with mangaka Hajime Isayama every two weeks for over one year to discuss every detail of the show which led to a redesign of the 3D Maneuver Gear, since Isayama wanted to improve the original due to his drawing talent being not as good when he started his manga.
>Every time an episode was aired, the impact was amazing on Twitter and etc., and it motivated us because we wanted to respond to their expectations and wanted the audience to enjoy. We may have heightened our hurdles by ourselves. Another important aspect is that Mr. Isayama helped create the animation with us almost like he was a staff.
>“how was the communication with Isayama?” Wada gave me a really elaborate answer, saying that he met up with Isayama every 2 weeks for about a year and everything from the tiniest titan face to a crack in the wall was all talked over with Isayama. So all the changes in the anime were made either with Isayama’s approval or because he was insisting on them. He said that they are pretty good friends and that it’s rare for a mangaka to have that much influence on the production of an anime adaptation of their work.
Now I'm really wondering why you're all so against Isayama's heavy involvement in the anime, is there something you don't like?
If anything I want her to cum on my face.
lol no, she doesn't even have a strong jaw
her bod is a bit lacking in definition but her complexion, hair, and demeanor is attractive
>who gave up like a pathetic shit
I don't know anything about that
With their babies!
He's afraid he won't be able to handle a real woman
So who's lying, Wada or Isayama?
Technically Wada shouldn't be able to tell exactly how much Isayama's been involved in the final product, since he's not the director. If his job is like that of any normal anime producer then he helps with the basic planning out of the episodes and possibly overviews episode scripts, but he's not involved in the actual writing.
No, it nearly always results in a ban that I couldn't be bothered dodging.
I spoilered it because some people are freaked out by her. Sorry if you're one of them, I'm not trying to freak you out.
One person could build ocean going sailing boat within few years, as after work hobby.
Sailing isn't rocket science it is not hard.
Proper navigation is. But at that distance it is secondary problem as when you aim at continent you will find it. Maybe at other point than intended but you will find it.
Isayama probably saw pic related from pixiv involving EreMika.
He's probably ass blasted that someone draw better than him with his own character.
That's why he may try to do a better sex scene than him
Reading comprehension much? The user who asked Wada speaks Japanese and she noticed the translator at the event wasn't doing a very good job. But that doesn't mean shit because she speaks Japanese and could understand what Wada said, hence she made a post reporting everything.
So being eaten by a titan was the first time Eren was hurt while having a goal? Eren never accidentally triggered his titan transformation growing up or in training considering how belligerent he is? Isn't this a plot hole?
They're all involved in everything anon. They sit down, discuss this shit and then work in their own areas. Isayama himself helped with the screenplay for crying out loud.
>When the anime production was started, I took part in meetings to decide on the focus of the screenplay. There, one thing that I requested to the production team is to emphasise on the characterisations. The manga development was done fast enough to entice the readers but, regretfully, it was lacking in ‘depth’ for the characterisation for each cast.
Well, every two weeks is definitely not twice a week... Anyway, I don't like 90% of the changes, so yeah, there's a lot I don't like. Thanks for going to all the effort trying to make your point though. Unfortunately, seems like from every side of the argument there is a lot of heresay. The truth is probably more in the middle than either one of us want to admit.
You're not going deep enough.
Eldia is a defeated Nazi Germany, subjugated by the Jewish Marley and segregated into ghettos.
Reiner and Zeke are Nazi descendants who betrayed the Master Race, for their new Jewish Overlords.
Anon, every two weeks for a whole year. That's insane.
My point has been made clear, you're the one who doesn't want to accept it.
Isayama's been so involved in the production he even added some scenes himself. Feelings, faces and now even voices are monitored by him.
Just accept it.
Eldians are clearly the Jews. Chosen people, expanded to conquer their neighbors, but they were defeated by interbreeding with their conquered nations. They became hated by the other nations, branded as subhuman, and forced to live in ghettos. They have a mythology following their god figure who provided everything good in the world but that religion isn't allowed to be practiced. The majority of Eldians went to their home country and formed a pure nation that is constantly under assault from similar people who aren't pure enough so they appear foreign. They surround themselves with walls, guarded by golems, and believe in a linear dynasty that will save them in the end of days where they are the only ones remaining.
He won't let anything bad happen to her
Oh I know who you are, Chris Hanson, but see I-I calls you Chris Handsome. I watch your TV show all the time. So, you can go ahead bring them cameras and polices waiting outside. It don't make me no difference. Now, I tell you what…I like ya and I want ya. Now we can do this the easy way, or we can do it the hard way the choice is yours.
>It's another fucking WW2 analogy
I said their mythology, I didn't say that's what happened.
It's not quite an analogy when they're actually having a world war
Eldian Guilt is basically the White Guilt of our universe.
>muh building Empires and spreading Civilizations is bad
Would you a greasy anchovy vagoo?
Endgame right here, brothers.
For some reason the artist included Galliard's dead brother Marcel
There are 7 known shifters, Eren (has two), Armin, Annie (likely dead), Reiner, Zeke, Galliard, and Picard
We're still missing the 9th Titan shifter, and according to Kruger Marley controlled 7 shifters and Eldia controlled 2. So they could be in Eldia if Kruger stole the Vanguard Titan from Marely, or they could be in Marely if Kruger's Titan was left with the Eldians still on the mainland by the First King before he retreated to Paradis
So this shows that Isayama made awful mistakes when he got the chance of making some improvement about the characters and plot. That's actually sad, I got more faith in the guy but this make obvious he is not a good writer, and the curious part about the story and characters was lack of pages, that would have shown he is still a newbie.
They reached the basement and got all the answers about the mysteries of the world. Connie and Sasha are fine
Bert will return to kill everyone. Remember this.
>Hangloid is consistently ugly as fuck in the manga
>She's a total cutie in the anime
Why is this allowed? Even that gigantic fucking Jewish hooknose that's really prominent in certain shots (like that side angle group shot in the OP of season 2) doesn't really make her ugly, it's more of a beauty flaw that actually makes her more interesting to look at.
It was entertaining but not worth it.
>Bertolt got more character development in the special episodes and the junior high spin-off than in the anime/manga up until revealing he's the colossal titan
Those non-canon episodes also made him go from "literally who?" to one of my personal favorites. How can you not love this kindhearted dork?
