Yuya's "final boss" status could mean anything in terms of powerlevel, it depends on the scale of the manga is from. He might easily have other powers but he probably isn't "the most powerful being in the universe".

The creators (Selesia creators), are involved with their creation, but in no way with Hime nor did they experienced nothing related to the great destruction. It's all on the level "so we have a super villain like the stories we write, ok I guess". Only Souta is involved with Hime, and he is the only one who reacted to all that theory. And even he wasn't convinced to the point of fully supporting Meteora since he is hiding the truth. Rui creator even points how what was discussed was just a theory and presents a different hypothesis.

I don't really understand your point. Heroes easily convince their party members, but not so frequently convince the villains with the same arguments, even those more well intentioned. Because people already predisposed to just accept anything or already prejudiced against Hime will accept easily something without proof, doesn't mean everyone in universe will. Especially someone whose only bet at reaching her objective is listening to the "villain".
