As someone who has watched enough anime and is actually currently reading Berserk by having a friend loan me most of his complete collection, I seriously cannot imagine any successfully animated adaptation of the story after the point when Guts starts fighting demons full-time. This may sound like sperging out, but there're too many non-standard and occasionally weird plot twists and developments that would be very hard to put into an anime episodic format (though of course it's possible). Then there's of course the general question of translating the rest of the manga's high-quality, which would be very difficult.

My advice is to keep reading and avoid any of the adaptations for as long as you can (completely avoid the new cgi version), and you will find yourself not disappointed in the slightest.
