The dialog before Piggy and Fairy scene is basically Yuuri feeling that he can't get better than this and he's holding Victor back from the ice. This makes the airport scene important because while GPF gold is still their goal, Victor still wants to coach Piggy forever. And you think that Piggy didn't take that to heart, you're blind. It was a stuble upgrade in their relationship and it eventually prompted Piggy to buy the rings in a indirect way to solidify their relationship into a more serious direction, like marriage.
