Would you watch a 12-ep SOL short series about Mami-san and her early meguca days?
Problem is, Mami is still "bluepilled" at the start of Madoka.
Unless they pull another timeline-switcheroo-hocus-pocus, it has limited potential.
More Mami is always better.
>come home one day
>Mami has accidentally been redpilled about the truth behind witches
>is sitting in the corner, in tears, clutching her rifle
>the room seems unusually dark, even though all the lights are on
>her soul gem is very nearly pitch-black and even approaching her makes you feel dizzy
What do? How do you fix this?
>Mami tries to assuage the loneliness by starting up a youtube baking channel
>internet fans == friends, right?
>every week is a new episode, where she reviews how to make a different type of dessert, along with a sample of the finished product
Would you watch it?
I'd watch ANYTHING containing megucas at this point.
>it has been more than 3 years since rebellion
>there was only 2 years between the tv series and the movies
I thought I stopped being angry about this.
Yet here I am rewriting this post for the 10th time because I can't write it without looking fucking mad.
But the Butcher implied that Mami is getting a power up in the next movie
never ever, so she's either going to get it from Punished Kyuubey or the automated LoC that was left behind. Either way she's going to put Homura in her place Michael-style, because she's now apparently a "God of War."
It's probably going to go something like this:
>Homura ruling over devil world
>Mami is somehow redpilled and goes out for Homura's blood
>Whoever is doing the redpilling probably QB is misleading her, so she turns into the unwitting villain
>Homura, the other villain, fights back
>Mami and Homura duke it out, Sayaka gets cucked out of her mission of stopping Homura
>Madoka, being the cinnamon roll that she is, just wants to stop the violence and for everyone to get along
>Madoka becomes God again and forces a cease fire
>Homura becomes the eternal Kyuubey bully, whose job it is to protect Madoka from all threats forever as a fellow concept
>Mami holds Homura's leash
>Sayaka eternally BTFO
>happy end?????? minus the whatever surprise suffering
At least that's what the concept shit they released in 2015 made it seem like they were going for
This is goind to happen
>mami discovers the truth
>pairs up with sayaka/nagisa
>sayaka/nagisa sacrifice themselves to create that huge cannon using their witch forms
>mami controls that cannon to shoot and break madoka's cage
>mami uses all her powers and dies, but not a horrible death but a "my job here is done" death
>madoka joins homura in this lesbian outerspace heaven
Based on what evidence? She lives with an unrelated loli and keeps her happy with sweets.
>that feel when u are never going to watch madoka for the first time again
Who started this 'Mami is straight' meme?
In gay rankings she's just barely behind Homura.
She's the only one never paired with anyone, and as the mother figure she's pretty much never going to be paired with anyone. She could be straight. Then again all of them could be straight. It's just subtext and yuri pandering when all is said and done.
To be fair, the subtext on some are the reason why their sexuality is debatable. Not like we're taking characters with established hetero feelings or relationships and interpreting said characters as gay. Megucas are all single.
Except Sayaka, who has an established crush on a boy which is a huge part of her character arc. And there's no reason to assume characters are lesbians unless proven otherwise, usually you'd do the opposite.
Yes please. Watching a Mami senpai 12 ep SoL will be great.
>Except Sayaka, who has an established crush on a boy which is a huge part of her character arc.
That's not pushed aside and is acknowledged, yes. By far, she was the only chracter in the cast to have open feelings for a male sex. Despite how doomed it is and even stated by the creator himself how it can never be. It's also safe to say due to her dialogue in Rebellion it's implied she's since moved on. And has genunily formed a stronger, closer bond with Kyouko. That's a fact, which is why it opens for debate on her sexuality shifting.
>And there's no reason to assume characters are lesbians unless proven otherwise
True, I even said so above. But when there's heavy subtext and hints leaning more the opposite sex attraction than it's only fair to argue. Since it's doubtful the show it'self will ever blatantly display it.
Will we have gotten info about Mami before the crash? The life she living before Kyuubey would be interesting before we get magical slice.
If Apple-chan allows me to watch the series with her, I would!
I wanna make love with Apple-chan!
I thought Sayaka was going to be the Michael.
A 12 episode prequel on her life. Once the prequel is done then we go to season 2 with another 12 episodes.
That is possible.
Just because a person is gay doesn't necessarily mean they aren't going to assume other people are straight. Mami could be a lesbian with excellent gaydar and just be giving advice that she thinks will be healthy for Madoka.
That sounds like it can work but that prequel would have to be 6 episodes instead. 12 seems too long just for Mami to meet kyuubey.
I want to make love with you.
But if Mami was a lesbian, wouldn't she suggest herself to Madoka?
I just want more megucas.
I'm flattered, but no.
according to this thread the general consensus is mami did not had enough screentime to satisfy her fans but not that little to make her a forgettable character either
having said that, why rebellion doesn't provide more screentime for her? I mean rebellion is super trash fanservice oriented but stretching the conflict between her and homura would be a good thing, considering both want the same thing but from different ways
as a mamifag since ep3 aired, anime + TDS is enough for me tho
They can do this. They can animate TDS. Give both Kyouko and Mami more screentime.
If TDS were animated it'd be great yet a living hell to suffer from a certain group. There'd also be even more heated debates on it's canon.
The Mami vs Homura fight was very poorly implemented, I think. The fight itself was great but there wasn't very much meaning behind it, the conflict didn't have a particularly compelling reason to happen and you knew all along that they weren't likely to seriously hurt each other anyway. It was pretty much just there because Butcher wanted a gun-kata scene.
>the conflict didn't have a particularly compelling reason to happen
Homura realizes that city is a witch's barrier -> remembers that Charlotte was a witch -> tries to get answers out of Charlotte, as she assumes that the only open witch among the party is responsible for the witch's barrier
Mami stops Homura from bullying her daughteru
Nothing particularly changed as a result of it that couldn't have happened by talking. It was nothing more than a misunderstanding. The two participants didn't have some big ideological difference that caused them to fight, which would have made it a compelling conflict, but rather they were just fighting because they were in one another's way.
Homosexuality is a mental illness.
You want your waifu to be right in the head, right?
Without emotion, Civilization probably would never have emerged. Given the Incubators got rid of theirs, does that mean they have no flight or fight response? Because that will dick them over in the long run.
I recall 3 years being mentioned. -but that sounds wrong, so I suspect it was actually 2. Around 1 without Kyoko, a nice amount of time without Kyoko (probably a few months), alone time, and then Episode 1.
When they discover their power can't stop everything or save them from their fate, they fall into despair and become an unusually powerful witch. Pretty sure that's what Walpurgis was.
I mean, it's probably the smartest wish in the long run. Kyubey will ironically fuck you over with your wish, but if your wish when becoming a magical girl is to be a really good magical girl, there's not much he can do
Walpurgis, atleast if the main which is the one in charge and decides the over all appearence, probably made a wish that gave them performer powers or something of the ilk. Like "I want [insert here] to be like a happy play." or something more complex but in the same vein.
We don't have enough info to say. We don't even know for sure if it was defeated in any timeline besides 4. It could have just huehuehued and left after no one could do anything to stop it.
I was exaggerating but it really seems to me like they tried to head off people thinking they were gay
>girls cant love girls scene
>madoka talking with mom about boys
>sayaka crushing on a guy
>kyouko mentions taking him from her (or something like that, I don't remember exactly)
>homura exclusively calls madoka her best friend
>nothing remotely sexual in the show
It's been a bit since I rewatched and I know I noticed more stuff while watching.
They even have Madoka and Homura hugging naked at the end and manage to make it obviously not the least bit sexual.
After the finale episode of Samurai Jack tonight, I'm broken.
Posting my OTP that's still alive. Fuck man, I'm pissed.
No, fuck you. That relationship had a lot to do with the season. And I'm upset for that very reason. How much pacing and time it took only for it to be thrown in the garbage.
I mean, I was expecting it but at the wedding? That's downright cruel.
Is Mami the best, most well written character in the entire Mahou Shojou genre?
I obviously saw Madoka since I was a fan of other Shaft productions.
Madoka is the only mahou shojou I've watched.
Are there any others I should check out?
All Mami craves is a platonic relationship with her friends, which she deserves!
Nothing about these images depicting a healthy friendship are lewd, it's your own twisted mind that is perverting these pure maidens!
>stop posting Madoka and Madoka related images in a Madoka thread >:^((
Madoka is written by a man who drinks tears like fine wine and enjoys suffering like sweetmeats. Any SOL he'd do would be one never-ending parade of suffering, pain and misery.
I want to make Mami-san cum.
He tried to do a SoL once and realized he can't do it once the osananajimi turned out to be a Karate master.
At least we got the first ever proto Homura out of it. The rarest of Homus.
I just got the picture on another thread.
I want you to eat my choco banana, if you know what I mean. Of course anime related.
it would be gagged in her mouth.
Name one thing made easier by a corset.
>Introduced as the most powerful Magical girl
>Reintroduced as squad leader in the movie
>Shown as the one force challenging Homura in the concept film
Don't ever forget that Mami is and always will be a red herring.
ITT: decent love triangles.
Only two couples have paired attacks in rebellion: Kyouko and Sayaka who are totally together and Mami and Madoka who were clearly into eachother just about every time they were on screen together. Let's also not forget Mami had a long relationship with Kyouko back in the day.
How the fuck do you even get images this low-quality?
I mean do you specifically seek these out? But someone would have to compress them in the first place. This doesn't make any sense.
I type random words after my intended search in google images
Madoka magica elevator
Mami Tomoe maple
Miki Sayaka whores
I wish I could find the larger version. No dice.
They go to a beach. Mami makes Kyouko feel bad after throwing a sea cucumber at Sayaka.
Remember when we were actually talking about stuff in this thread? Good times.
Someone explain Hyper/Super Mami from the concept trailer to me. Also if you have a good picture of it, I'd like that.
How does this make you feel?
I would put black x red above black x blue. They were real skin-shippy detectives together in the movie. Sayaka was only in it to see Kyouko again so I think that between the two she must like Kyouko way more, and let's face it, no matter how you slice it between bff Madoka, tsundere lover Kyouko or big sister fun-squeeze Mami, Homura must be Sayaka's least favorite girl. Kyouko and Homura meanwhile they did well together.
And we all know what is colored pink.
>Homosexuality is rainbow colored.
Ah, I see.
Is that why people thing I support homusexual marriage when I wear this officially licensed Madoka Magica shirt?
