Hell, Okumura would never have been targeted by the PTs natually anyways. It was Shido's fuckery with the Phan-site that put Okumura at the top of the list along with putting public pressure on the PTs to act.

It made sense that P3 and P4 got adapted since the average gamer in Japan didn't want to go back and play PS2 games right around the height of the PS3 and Xbox 360. Since P5 is on current gen and has sold like hotcakes, I don't think that they'll adapt P5 in the sense of just making a straight adaptation of the game's story.

If they're smart, the best way to handle the P5 anime is by making a movie that tells an original story that takes place after the end of P5. They could have the movie animated by Production I.G and get a competent director to handle it alongside the writers for the games.

The best director that can pull this off in my opinion is Takeshi Koike, the director of Redline. He has a very unique style of animated filmmaking and he also did a great job with Lupin III: Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone and Goemon Ishikawa's Bloodspray. Putting him in charge of a Persona 5 anime would be something I'd love to see.
