- Hiroaki Miura (Shindo) and Takuma Terashima (zaShunina) were both top candidates for zaShunina's role; Miura sounded more human of the two, so he got Shindo instead
- the VA tips for zaShunina's role were "speech that doesn't sound like speech; words that don't sound like words"
