Because Jolyne is a far better JoJo than Giorno and Pucci is a far better villain than Diavolo who was just a walking meme. Outside of that is just personal preference. Part 5 has the better cast and setting and some of the best fights in the series. Part 6 has a more coherent story and Weather Report was great.

Could've just made a blank white page with [Giorno is the portagonist so he wins] and a skip to the ending and it would've been the same exact shit.

Both Part 5 and Part 6 had some pretty satisfying and pretty shitty fights though.
Part 7 shits all over both.
I'm not very happy with part 8 so far, it feels like every single fight cuts short before it actually gets interesting.
