How do you explain all the foreshadowing that fell flat, then? Like "LRIGs have to go nappy time after they battle" which was just blatantly forgotten in the tournament arc. I don't know you guys but whoever was in charge in the final decision of the musical ambientation fucked it up for Lostorage, there are many good tracks in the OST but one can barely hear iy from the episodes.

They originated from the leftover emotions and unfulfilled wishes from the first game. It wasn't revealed whether each new LRIG was one specific broken wish or simply a combination taken from the pool, but you can argue either way. Then they took on an appearance and outward personality from the memories of their Selector.
