The lockwork and action on the Ruger Blackhawk is different from on the Colt Single Action, it doesn't have the same 4 clicks or a half-cock notch, there's also a transfer-bar safety in them since at least the 80's or earlier (it also has a separate firing-pin and uses a coil-spring in place of a flat spring but that's less relevant to this question).

You can't hold down the trigger then just pull back the hammer repeatedly so that the cylinder advances and the gun fires each time, it doesn't work the same way.

It is the case that when a show lasts too long, the author's personal tastes changes and the story he started with isn't what he wanted to write about anymore.

One of three things haappen:
1. The author quits.
2. The author drags the show along with no real interest. Everyone is annoyed.
3. The author change the theme of the manga mid-stream and once again piss off loyal readers. Or sometimes you get the Naussica manga that was still very popular, but you can tell that the author started as an optimist but became a pessimist mid-way through the series. Another example is Centaur's Worries, where SoL became mysterious conspiracy and everyone hated it.

It is rather clear that the manga is implying time has moved on, when the plot inserted an internet cafe in the city. The old school criminal town is outdated and the new world doesn't have a place for the old ways.

I don't know what they were thinking with the last episode. It's relatively fine up to that point, then it just goes off the rails and changes things. Part of me respects that Madhouse at least took some risks and made changes but I didn't like a single one they made.

The rape is needless and adds nothing. Revy turning on Rock detracts from the scene and lessens Revy's character. Crippling Roberta to the extent that is shown, while making the soldiers seem somewhat more competent, seems mostly unnecessary and over-the-top. I don't know if Hiroe directly talked with the anime staff about whether Roberta could make another appearance but Madhouse's ending makes it so that the anime's canon could never have Roberta be a combatant again.

I don't know what inspired them to change that last episode so much but it wasn't for the better.

The drum mags are basically copied from the Finnish KP31 and poorly so, they jam like Eric Clapton, the curved stickmags were only a moderate improvement.

A big issue is the rate of fire, 1000rpm, which really is way higher than is practical, you use up your ammo too fast, even with a 72rd drum and even assuming the drum doesn't have a hiccup. It'd be much more useful at like 600rpm or so.

In the 90's a CD might hold maybe 300mb, which was a monumental step up from the floppy, which held maybe 3mb on average. By the 2000's you could find CDs capable of about 700mb if I recall right.

It was much better for music because you could fit a higher quality track on a CD than on shitty old 8 track tapes, CDs also didn't lose audio quality if you looked at them wrong, as was the case with tapes.
Of course it wasn't nearly as portable as tape players.
