The Yuno-coaster was fun though:

>Yuno starts as just some mildly creepy stalker
>isn't even phased by a guy being sucked into his phone
>"Well whatever at least she's cute"
>pile of dead bodies in her house
>cue Yuuki freak out mode
>realizes he can't escape her because she knows EXACTLY what he's doing at all times
>rest of the show consists of the viewer feeling bad for Yuno, only to have their initial "she's fucking insane" view affirmed by her doing more and more absurd things

Yuuki was the sidekick, with Yuno being the MC.

Honestly all of Mirai Nikki was really enjoyable to me. It's in my favorites, even if a big part of the reasons is just my real life situation when I watched it the first time (when it aired). I rewatch it now and then.
