Yes, I have an idea for a doujin based on my favorite series and two original ideas for hard sci-fi novels. I have a natural drawing talent, but I need to practice a lot and sharpen my proportions first. Right now I'm just practicing.

I wanted to do a doujin based on Fate with the Holy Grail played completely straight. Call the thing: Fate / The Magi Case

Set within the modern year in New York City, a detective investigates the traces of a serial murderer who robs their victims home. The last victim was a historian who had a historical dagger belonging to them stolen.

When revisiting the crime scene late at night the detective discover the sheathe to an old sword and accidentally unlocks their magic powers and summons forth the Servant Saber. Now to find out the truth behind the historian murder and their power in magic, the detective will have to work close to their Servant Saber and participate in an illegal Holy Grail War taking place in New York.

The story would focus on the Detective as he: Uncovers his magi history, trying to uphold his ideals in protecting the citizens from the destruction caused the war, find out the past of Saber, find out a rogue branch of the Clocktower is conducting the Holy Grail War in attempt for their leader to obtain immortality so they can conduct more Holy Grail Wars to change the world to their view, the serial murderer was an assassin eliminating agents of the Clocktower and potential magis in the war and who just wants humanity to fall into its primal instincts of killing until it either dies out or just becomes too sick to do it anymore.

The story would end with the Master of Rider, an agent for the Clocktower being declared the winner and who destroys the rogue faction of Magi. New York getting bombed by the Grail after it gets destroyed. The detective dying in Saber's arms after they managed to kill the murderer and Assassin who fatally wounded him in the final battle.

It was just an idea. Many of the Servants didn't want much:

(Saber) Gwendolen just wants to win the war and use the Grail for Pax Britannia after learning the modern history of Britain and its current status. She gets over it eventually and thinks Britain is on a good path.

(Archer) Simo doesn't care about the war and just wants to get max cozy as the winter sets in New York and he gets advantage in the snow setting.

(Lancer) Aife wants to fight strong opponents, more importantly Scathatch. So she goes after Gwendolen as her opponent until she wins and uses the Grail to wish Scathatch to her so the both of them can fight each other like before Cu interfered.

(Caster) Hildegard wants to save her young master from the rogue faction and the inevitable death if they don't leave, and is working with them for that sole purpose.

(Rider) Gunther just wants to end the Holy Grail War and be helpful in general. The literal incarnation of the good guy.

(Assassin) Menahem true desire is to restore Israel as a powerful state in the world, and goes along with the whims of his murderous master until he can get his hands on the Grail.

(Berserker) Herald just wants to conquer New York thinking its Norway with his master who is the leader of the rogue faction.
