Eh, some aspects of it caught me by surprise when I first watched it, but I was pretty young.

I thought it did a pretty good job of not pulling it's punches for the setting, even if it WAS obviously being emotionally manipulative. It had situations that were set up decently and evoked emotion.

All that aside, I was just hoping to get OP to watch it and turn him into a wreck for a few days.
