ITT: manga that changed your life.
Went from scrawny to hitting the gym at least five times a week.
Now I know why I'd been feeling so empty.
Inb4 autistic newfag mods nuke this thread like the rest
>>157176543
Why the fuck would they nuke this?
Anyway, Kokou no Hito was one of the most inspiring manga that I've ever read.
>>157176507
>anime
fuck off.
>>157177959
I actually started bouldering for a while because of it. It's a sick sport, just very niche and time consuming.
Same, it's the manga that got me into martial arts.
>>157178275
How often do you go? And would it be strange to go solo? I really want to get into it.
>>157176298
Did you also start fucking old ladies for money?
>>157178587
I don't go anymore because like I said it's very time consuming. At least in my opinion to really get the most out of it you'd need to stay at least 2 hours. It's a lot of fun though. I used to go solo, not strange at all, it's fairly common actually. Going with someone or meeting people there is very entertaining though because you can 'play' certain games or activities with other people.
Mushishi. Thanks to it my way of thinking has become way more smoother and as a person I feel like a broad-minded individual. In short it pretty much touched every decision I make.
>>157179338
Iyashikei in general is a great way of making you see stuff in other perspectives, aria honestly touched me.
fyi, mangas that don't get an anime adaption are garbage
Tsukimishou no Akari
>>157179875
Anything else you need to get off your chest anon?
>>157179875
>lone wolf and cub
>yotsuba
>planetes
>vinland saga
>vagabond
>anything by asano
>jjba part 7
>tsugumomo
>thermae romae
and the list goes on
>>157180127
Half that list has been adapted and most of the rest is garbage.
>>157180127
why would you even answer him.
>>157180237
>>157180278
trolled hard
>>157180127
>thermae romae
I really think responding to bait is stupid, but this manga disappointed me so hard.
Has anyone read plinivs, same author? I want muh roman manga so bad.
>>157180441
It wasn't anything ambitious, just a neat short story to read.
This edgy shit fucked me up pretty good
>>157180598
Because of how bad it is, right?
>>157180654
wowlol so random this is going in my 4chan scrapbook
>>157180654
I wish /m/ was for manga.
>moot splits off /v/ into 10 other boards
>/a/ still has to hold autistic pedophiles and people who just want to discuss actually good series/manga under the same roof
it's not fair.
>>157180720
Please talk about robot manga on /m/, they need something good on their board and there's some really good sci-fi stuff out there.
>>157180748
I find it hilarious /a/ is the only board that gets asked to go to other boards, /h/, /m/ and the imagedump boards keep trying to recruit anons there.
>>157180598
It had its moments. OP didn't say they had to be good.
>>157179875
Shieldbro doesn't have an anime adaption yet and most people agree it's a better Isekai than most of the bullshit Isekais we've gotten over the past 6 years.
made me start cycling and i went on to win state track championships, ive stopped tho now i just lift n buy manga
>>157178587
Solo Bouldering is ez as fuck depending on your local outdoor, also cheapest way to get into climbing all you need is a pad, shoes and chalk.
>>157178587
>would it be strange to go solo?
Not at all. It's one of the few things people leave you alone to do your thing and social interaction is minimal. If any happens it's to ask to share a barbell or something.
Head over to /fit/ and read the sticky.
>>157181298
>>157178587
Oh shit I thought you were asking about lifting, not bouldering my bad.
>>157181104
Sweet!
I gained self-confidence after reading Rokudenashi Blues.
One of the best manga I've ever read. It just spoke to me.
The whole "1000 punches everyday" was motivating af.
>>157180635
Is it really bad? Just looking at a synopsis it seems pretty intriguing to say the least. Why/where did it get bad?
>>157182009
>believing anything 4chan calls bad is actually bad
>>157182009
The side-plots can be too intrusive and the protagonist's personality takes a nosedive from his youth to his teens, though it could just be blamed on his upbringing and regular teen antics
>>157183608
It could be worse. It could be that piece of shit called Homunculus that /a/ always seems to circlejerk to.
Complete nonsense up until the very end. Author had no idea what the fuck he was doing.
>>157184269
It was a cool concept tho.
>>157183608
Punpun is meant to be detestable scum so that's handled well. The real problem is that it makes it difficult to sympathize for him. Basically everything he doesafter his mom diesis hard to really justify. He's not a character I ever felt deserved his happiness, although that isn't to say I think he deserved to suffer as much as he did. But most of the bad stuff in his adult life was caused by himself.
>>157176298
I hope you don't saw Ryo as a role model, the man was a prick that went from bad to worse. In shamo, the best role model was the Judo man that became friend of Toma, his philosophy of the gentle fist was so impressive even the black dogi surrendered.
For me it was Baki, it got me fit and made me decide to learn martial arts.
Garouden is also pretty kino
>>157184722
didn't*
It taught me that it's okay to ignore my child and run off to become a professional killer, he'll still love me and also become a murderer to see why it's so fun. Also that the world is flat.
>>157184722
I seriously hate that Garouden got canceled. It JUST got to the good parts where we actually got to see some street fighting.
