This is pretty good. You should definitely give it a try, the fight scenes are the best among modern manga right now. You could try Hero Academia too but Magi is shit now. Compared to most battle shonen I would say NNT has more romance.

I like NnT because of the artwork and the characters and story seem well planned out instead of pulling a bigger threat out of the authors ass. Little details are great too, for example you have one guy in the tavern mention the new king of Camelot and Arthur shows up volumes later, and another would be Escanor's glasses.

The fights don't seem that interesting when it comes down to one character completely overpowering the other, but I enjoy seeing how character's powers counter others.

It's pretty standart shonen, a huge amount of trops and cliches, but it has an amazing art. Boku No Hero Academia is pretty shitty imo. Magi was liked here for quite some time, not so much now, I'm personaly was never fond of it that much. Its themes are more mature than those you can find in most shonens, but most of the time the execution isn't really top notch, art is also pretty fucking bad.

Mel had no way of knowing what went down in the past with Gowther's sin and the king never had any reason to tell Mel the story of his deceased sister or give him the heart, since the king didn't know Mel and Gowther had a common past. Was just pointing out age does make a difference. Meliodas is 3000 years old and as a character he is very sober yet manipulating at the same time without the other characters realizing it. He witnesses his lover dying hundreds of times and he still chooses to feel anger every time. Even if his lover dies he will find her reincarnation and love her again. For all I know he could have groomed Elizabeth into being just like Liz but he loves her even if she grows up differently.

Gowther could certainly be Merlin's father - that wouldn't stop Meliodas knowing her for over 3000 years, considering Meliodas is at least 3380+ years old. Estarossa's age is given as 380, and Meliodas is his older brother.

If Merlin is a demon, or part demon, there's plenty of time for her and Meliodas to have met as adults over 3000 years ago.

I personally think she's a nephalem, given her resistance to the commandment, although the question of who her parents are will be an interesting one.
