>All those times we memed about Enshuu learning magic will come true and she's going to fuck everyone up
The first step is to fail, and then keep failing until you succeed.
I remember when people thought Aleister would be the big bad and we would have 10 more volumes max to showcase all the toys and tricks he has up his sleeves. Since Laura literally hijacked his keikaku, how many volumes do we have left? I'm hoping we stop at 27 at the least.
Aleister may still be the big bad. NT hasn't been straightforward enough to say that "x" can't be the final boss. And Laura "hijacking" his keikaku was keikaku doori, so as it stands right now it's a big 4d chess game between them.
>yfw all this final boss talk ends up going nowhere because NT isn't the end
I feel like it depends on if S3 is gonna be announced soon. If it is, Kamachi will probably be asked to lengthen the series a bit to get the most out of it.
Otherwise, I think around NT24 would be a reasonable place to stop. I assumed NT18 was gonna be a slower paced infodump volume but a fuckton has happened at once, so I doubt going all the way up to NT27 is necessary.
No more comfy AC days. Seriously, when has this city ever caught a break?
I doubt it since she is at AC and and Aleister will being going to Britain from the looks of the spoilers but we still need to wait till the volume gets translated to confirm anything
>Arthur Conan Doyle and Bram Stoker were ,e,bers of Golden Dawn.
Touma punching Sherlock and Dracula when?
>According to Crowley's memoirs, The Confessions of Aleister Crowley, Mathers was in the habit of ostensibly playing chess matches against various pagan gods. Mathers would set up the chessboard and seat himself behind the white pieces, with an empty chair opposite him. After making a move for himself, Mathers would then shade his eyes and peer towards the empty chair, waiting for his opponent to signal a move. Mathers would then move a black piece accordingly, then make his next move as white, and so forth. Crowley did not record who won.
Mathers was friends with the Magic Gods. Maybe he became jealous Crowley was more fitting to be the next god?
Now that's revealed that IB is an arrow made from a hand, Terra's comment on Touma not using it properly and the speculation that it could be usid with a wider range all mak sense. In 10+ volumes, we will se Touma detaching his arm and throwing it at his enemies like a boomerang.
>become one of Kamachi's best artists
>finally get your time to shine and surpass the anime
>3 cour anime gets announced
>you won't pass it up for another 7+ years
At least the manga is progressing. As long as it goes over the entirety of OT a lot of us will be glad. The only question is, will NT get a manga spin off? Assuming Chuya isn't tired as fuck already.
>Touma gets pissed off at Chronozon because it got too close to his headcrab and fairy
>Tears off arm to throw it at whatever supernatural crap it fires off, cancelling any and all of it
>Invisible Thing follows in the wake of nullified space to Chronozon and eats it's fucking face
>Regen kicks in afterwards and it's done
Pretty efficient way to fuck some guys up, honestly
>Miki and Dengeki say that Season 3 is in the works
>multiple hints at it
>Twitter becomes active again
>Astral Buddy manga out of nowhere
>Accel is moving past it's first arc
>Railgun is rapping up it's arc
>Index manga is finally about to overtake the anime
>This entire volume is fucking HAPPENING
Season 3 is absolutely happening. Believe in the memes.
Since Big Al basically used magic in their creation
On that note, do you guys think we'll ever see any of the espers from prior generations? Because the system for making them has clearly been around for some time so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.
>yfw there's a flasback to thelema abbey
>after eating shit and fucking goats a young thelemite is finally able to lift stuff off the ground becoming the first esper
>Aleister sees this as super cool but the process is unrefined, and think it needs some SCIENCE
I believe to the maximum, if it doesn't happen because this volume sells like crazy I'm going to kill something.
This, the only reason it skipped an arc in the past was because they didn't know if it would be popular or not, that's not an issue anymore though so we're all good.
>Geriatric ass espers come around but their powers are only level 1, level 2 at best
>Due to shear experience, however, they can basically hold their own against level 3s and maybe some 4s
Old people being badass and people compensating for having weak ass powers are my shit
Actually, Raildex magic is not that far from science. The base is unscientific, but the methods are pretty much in line with real science. A proper combination of both could be really powerful. Kind of like Ladylee's Endymion, use science to build the world's biggest magic circle.
>“This exhibitionist shotacon girl actually sees us as perverts.” “Yeah nyaa.” “You’re right.”
>“Whaaa?! *cough cough cough cough* Wh-wh-wh-what do you people have as proof to say others are a shotacon?!!”
Did you think they were joking?
The manga scene only makes the above funnier; Awaki probably thought she was being subtle.
Mind you, I could be wrong about any of this since it's been a bit since I read about them.
Gemstones are just bastards lucky enough to be born with superpowers. Sort of like Saints but their power is their own and not drawn from some other source
Espers are basically an attempt to reproduce Gemstones
Gunha's just a powerful, natural gemstone that got put through the cities curriculum
Gemstones are mutants, with the mutations that cause the super powers occuring naturally. They are born with their powers.
Espers are artifically modified with surgery and chemicals to induce the effect of the mutations. It's more effective the younger the patient is. The process is not polished completely, there are some subtle differences between how Espers and Gemstones work.
Thelema has nothing to do with Gemstones (as far as we know), but NT17 hints that Espers and their powers are derived from something Thelema related, and that at its core its just modified magic.
The endgame of this series might include Aleister succeeding in wiping out magic, but Touma being forced to defeat him and Aiwass by using Imagine Breaker in a way that destroys Thelema and esper abilities as well, leaving everyone in the world unable to use any kind of power. The world would likely become way more peaceful as a result.
The operation and the chemicals only give you powers, but they need to be developed. The whole power development in schools and the theory behind how the powers work is pretty much Thelema.
Mobile, but play it on a emulator like an ormal person should
>shilling a free game
Though if I could actually read chinese it'd probably be easier on me to find information
The world almost got destroyed dozens of times in the five month span of this series. From a narrative standpoint it's going to have to end with everything supernatural being wiped out. Thematically everything supernatural being wiped out is in line with everything presented by Kamachi thus far. So yes, all things supernatural will cease to exist. That's what makes the most sense from both a narrative and thematic standpoint, so it's dumb to expect anything else.
The correct term would be magick, but trying to fall under the laws of physics still. But an interesting question would: how would those powers work in the Aeon of Horus, where they should be natural?
So, which would you choose?
>Using Idol Theory on a perrson or concept of your choosing, potentionally ending up anywhere between shit tier and high tier magician
>Going through the Power Development Curriculum, getting a power based on your personality, ending up between Level 1 and Level 4
>The world would likely become way more peaceful as a result.
Not with Kamachi writing it. I'd give it 2 months at most without magic for some random conspiration to be unveiled with some huge world-ending scientific plan.
Or just Objects.
That's questionable. Because it was explicitly stated that things like IT don't fall under either, and we can be sure that it's related to Thelema/Magick, so it might be best to see it as a third type.
Getting experimented on by Aleister so I don't have to get cucked by the Board of Directors not putting resources into developing my powers or having to be a shitty rip-off of some deity.
> getting (probably shit) power and dying is using magic
> getting power of your choice (with enough autistic dedication) without side effects
not really a choice if you ask me
>implying you really have a choice at what your power is
>implying there's also not the chance for you to be stuck at level 0
It's all a big sham. Being a Gemstone is the best option but less than 1% of anyone would have that option
I'd rather have to put forth effort to get high-tier magic than to risk my shit luck rolling me a level 1 ability to grow out my taint hairs a quarter of an inch or to get nothing at all because some douche in a pisstube is deciding my fate
With the new revelation about IB's origin, I would lean towards not working on Gemstones. It was used to keep summoned stuff in check, what it negates is more about being unnatural, then supernatural.
Kuroko is an unfair example because the only esper power I want more than Kuroko's are Accel's, Gunha's and Kakine's
Also Espers have to do autistic calculations for their powers to work, so it's not that easy for them. Magicians have to do autistic historical and mythological research, which sounds far more fun.
Their exact powers? No. But the ability to manipulate vectors and create dark matter?
In theory yes, but those two can only do it because of their subconscious calculation powers, because understanding vectors and dark matter in the first place is next to impossible.
Maybe if they were more famous? It seems like one key part of Idol Theory is that the "Idol" you're emulating has been worshipped by or at least heard of by a large group of people. It doesn't matter whether the thing actually happened (e.g. fairy tale based magicians) as long as everyone knows the story.
That's what I'm talking about. If you choose magic, you can reach high tier with an insane amount of work and dedication, yet still be a jobber. If you roll a Level 3 power, that's diverse enough to find some usufulness in eveyday life. Even a level 1 power can be nice.
>worked hard and gained power
>has power that she put some effort into, yes, but that was only allowed because the douche in the pisstube decided that she could
Magicians aren't totally barred from learning magic
Espers have to be lucky enough to catch Aleister's eye in order to get their power
I was just about to say this
Being a Kihara is the absolute best for either route.
>enough scientific knowledge to be better at being an esper and get the most out of it
>have a flexible enough mind to learn magic and use it in tandem with your scientific knowledge
>understanding vectors [...] is next to impossible
You know vectors are a real thing that's taught to 16 year olds, right? Sure you don't get on to the actual complex 3 dimensional stuff until the first year of University, but it's not anywhere near the ballpark of "Here's some white goo I made up that defies the laws of physics". It is true that mentally making vector calculations at the rate Accel does is impossible for someone that isn't a computer, though.
Bullshit. The only really good lv3 powers we saw so far is that Scavenger girl with her paper stuff and that Railgun girl who can change buoyancy.
All other lv3 powers are shit less useful than a cheap 9mm gun.
Espers start getting good at lv4 and even then they are far worse than competent magicians like Lessar. Not even mentioning really powerful magicians.
Remember that time Stiyl held off Pendex for fucking ever? Stop sleeping on him
> Magicians aren't totally barred from learning magic
Yeah, they are just banned from laminating their runes and shit like that. Good luck using meme magic without modern technology.
No, I mean become unstoppable by using an incomprehensible power like he does with Hlidskjalf.
Also, I thought becoming a magic god "only" required that you become the leading world expert on your particular field of magic? Eg. Norse for Othinus, egyptian for Neph, etc.
Honestly, until we read the volume to know for sure, I have serious reservations about the hand arrow IB and Touma's IB being the same thing.
It wouldn't shock me if they serve the same function in Crowley's plan and therefore the same name, but are seperate powers.
Styil should just bullshit his Innocentiuses and put a trinity within a trinity.
>1 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 Innocentius
How can espers even compare
>It is true that mentally making vector calculations at the rate Accel does is impossible for someone that isn't a computer, though.
This is exactly what I mean. No magician is going to be able to make a spell that manipulates something to a degree that they can't understand without a personal reality. The same goes for DM when it can't even be defined.
It'd just be easier to bullshit your way past a means like that, and go straight to the result and pull a Terra-lite
All he has to do to kill her is cast the simplest curse and her veins explode.
And Kuroko is a bad example since she has one of the most useful esper powers in the series.
Besides, Styil is a jobber. Remember when Lessar and that russian magician were throwing magic at each other when not even being in line of sight? Magic is insanely versatile.
>Innocentius would kill most lv5 espers.
No. Mikoto, Kakine, Accel and Mugino all have the capacity to overwhelm Innocentius and destroy the rune cards without even breaking a sweat. This is not even up for debate.
It requires that you fulfill a certain culture's requisites to become a god.
If I remember correctly Magic Gods aren't even using Idol Theory because they aren't doing the same shit that a certain deity did to become a god, they ARE said deities.
Huh, so I'm literally Carissa.
The magic used by Magic Gods is leagues above what normal magicians use though, it can't even be compared.
Which makes me wonder what Aleister's magick will look like once the Aeon of Horus comes about.
But that has nothing to do with learning magic you fucking goober.
That's just something against the laws that prevent science from getting mingled with magic and that's something that people can CLEARLY just ignore.
For fucks sake, there was a goddamn Kihara that became a magician.
What more says modern technology in Raildex than just simply being a Kihara?
>Mikoto, Kakine, Accel and Mugino all have the capacity to overwhelm Innocentius
Except they don't. Innocentius could tank Pendex attacks and Imagine Breaker. Physical attacks do nothing to it.
If I can talk it down maybe. Or I could ask the Magic Gods for help.
But no, I'd probably just use it to flirt with Othinus.
>We are talking about Innocentius not Styil.
Who the fuck else is going to summon innocentius
>And how is she going to attack him when he has the people clearing spell on?
How would it prevent her from attacking?
Are we ever going to hear about Metatron? He's pretty important.
Also, could a magician potentially master several high level spells from various fields of magic, or do all magicians have to focus on one field only?
Enshuu is pure autistic intelligence, so much so that they had to lock her up for the sake of the city.
Are you guys fucking serious? Your small minds can't fathom a way for a top ranked level 5 to apply their ability to stop a simple golem made of fire that isn't even a fraction as powerful as their own abilities? Nevermind the fact that they can just focus on the runes or one shot Stiyl himself.
Enshuu channeling her big bro Touma is
reminder that she knows about old Touma
>The ability to view every event across all of the infinite timelines simultaneously.
>implying I wouldn't just let Choronzon do whatever the fuck he wants and chill in my room watching the Demon King Touma timeline
>How would it prevent her from attacking?
She would never be able to locate stiyl in the first place. People clearing doesn't work on Touma and every magician can spot instantly. However for normal people and those that don't magic is an insurmountable wall, mikoto herself was kept out of Acqua fight because of one..
Level 5's think they're the strongest in the world because they're mostly ignorant of the world of magic outside Academy City's walls. They can wreck your average mage, but stand no chance against top magic side people unless they're Accelerator or Gunha.
For the avarage person it probably needs half a decade to make a few inches flame on their finger, focusing on one field. Doing multipe fields simply too time consuming, but I guess it's doable.
Are some fields of magic easier to become proficient with than others?
I'm guessing the easiest would be Christianity while the hardest would probably be Thelema or the Cthulhu mythos.
All the level 5s can put up a fight with high level magicians as long as they have some creativity. Hell, Normal highschool boys could, that's the point made thoroughout the whole series.
Except meta shit like Holy Right, obviously.
>Do you think you have defeated the Kiharas just because you pushed back Amata-ojisan? Ransuu-ojisan, Gensei-ojiisan, Byouri-obasan, Nayuta-chan, Yuiitsu-oneechan, Jouryuu-oniichan, Konshou-oneechan, Chokuryuu-kun, Doutai-ojisan, Kagun-ojisan, Bunri-oniichan, Sousai-chan, Kenbi-obasan, Bunshi-oniichan, Therestina-obasan, Kouten-oneechan. I may indeed lack something as a Kihara, but I am supported by the combat patterns of 5000 Kiharas!! Mere undergrowth that has not taken a step into the darkness of Academy City cannot hope to break this great tree!!
Will Kamachi ever introduce all the Kiharas that Enshuu mentioned?
>focus on the runes
>espers being able to figure out the runes are the problem
It's not even a thing of them not being smart enough, AC pretty much programs to them not to understand magic. Only accel has overcame that. Also I don't think you realize how strong pendex is and what it means for stiyl to not get destroyed by her.
>Innocentius is powerful enough to not get dispelled by Imagine Breaker.
No, it's just generating fire constantly. The fire that gets negated generates back. If Touma could reach the core, it would disappear instantly.
>All the level 5s can put up a fight with high level magicians
They can't put a fight against mid tier magicians.
All magicians need to do is cast the simplest curse at them and they would start vomiting blood. Just like Accel did in Hawaii.
All of those names also mean something related to science/math in Japanese
Hardest one is Alchemy, only one guy got results.
According with the wiki the unmentioned ones are:
>Konshou (混晶): Mixed crystal
>Sokuryou (測量): Surveying
>Kaihou (解法): Solution
>Jouryuu (蒸留): Distillation
>Chokuryuu (直流): Direct Current (DC)
>Doutai (導体): Conductor (i.e. of electricity)
>Bunri (分離): Separation
>Sousai (相殺): Offsetting
>Kenbi (顕微): Microscopic
>Bunshi (分子): Molecule
>Kouten (公転): Revolution (i.e. of heavens)
The last one sounds pretty chunni.
No because they lack the magic to dispel magic. They would be fucked even against the most basic magic formulas.
Magicians can also easily enhance their bodies. Lessar was able to easily rip apart a machine Mikoto was having trouble against.
Yes and he could have done it both ways. He seems to be able to live forever as far time goes and he has a billion bodies so he could do the everyone chanting a section thing.
Fiamma at absolute peak with fortress, pendex and his power to save the world? Sure only top tiers could do anything.
Standard Fiamma? Nope. Thor, Birdway or Vento could easily deal with him.
>Fiamma was born with the power to save the world and manufactured his great enemy in order to defeat it
>crowley said they had the same goal and from what we have seen chronozon is the great enemy he wants to beat
Why not just bring him into the fold maybe update his aeon? Why is this nigga against help? Who wouldn't want to stop a demon?
Speaking of alchemy, concerning the alchemist arrow, there has to be a limit to how freaking top secret something can be. Izzard didn't recognize it all and it didn't pop up in any grimoires. Even the magic gods got it wrong. Creating something convenient enough to destroy any unwanted summonings has to logged somewhere, right? Othinus also used it to restore Touma's phase. Something that I can't imagine an exorcism tool made by people being able to do. Either we are really missing some pieces from the volume or Kamachi is bullshitting us again.
>that got put through the cities curriculum
I don't think that was ever actually stated, I would find it odd for AC to potentially fuck up whatever gemstones have going on, especially their best one.
The plan of Fiamma wasn't to just stop the war (that he created) and the plan of Crowley wasn't to just stop the demon (that he invented). The point here is to use necessary power on unnecessary bullshit.
then what is this guy talking about >>157124027
Didn't that Fiamma kick iceboat vento's ass? He had to actually dodge he attacks because holy right wasn't up to snuff but he still won.
We never even saw her fight all out. We only know she won't die when killed, can match saints in speed and do shitloads of other shit.
Fiamma without all the buffs he got in WW3 was weaker than Acqua and Vento.
I'd rather be a magician using Idol theory on some cool Greek shit rather than the possibility of being stuck as a level 0 forever. Just takes a lot of work and you'll get some results rather than none at all due to the parameter list.
I can't really blame them though. All Touma runs into on the magic side are prodigies, game breakers and straight up monsters. That is why I kind of hope that Astral buddy thing moves us away from the, "fuck you, I win" neck of the woods in Raildex. Too bad it will be science based instead of magic based.
We have no idea what Fiamma is like without Pendex. Hell even now he is missing his right arm which is a big problem considering he does right arm spells. He is doing idol theory without the thing he needs. Plus he hasn't had an onscreen fight that wasn't against a magic god. All we know is he has a barely there holy right.
That's exactly it, we only see all the top tier magicians even from the start so people decide that Stiyl is the base and you'll probably be at least as good as him when he's already the equivalent of Mugino on the magic side.
Agnese has oodles of nuns and they all can't do shit until they work together except wave a weapon around. You're just as likely to end up a mook on the magic side as you are science.
Well, you literally can oppose one of God's Right Seat with people like Motoharu and Itsuwa who are shit tier magicians, to be honest. Magic is pretty powerful even in mook hands.
All Amazon reviewers give 5 out of 5 stars (perfect score) to Kazuma Kamachi NT18, some of them like "hot-trap" interaction between Misaki+Mikoto
This the highest ranking probably sales too (report in few days) since Kamachi experiment about "Kamisato Arc's" is truly failing him.
If you read the Neccesarius SS you'll see Itsuwa is not really a mook. Neither is Motoharu. All he did was analyze Terra's magic anyways which had a glaring weakness to it once you figured it out. It's not like he overpowered it.
Isn't it just Innocentius that was stated to be at that level? He needs setup to use it and it drains a fuckton of energy, so I don't think we can really call him a pope level mage as a whole.
Couldn't someone try their luck with magic and then try to be an esper if that fails?
I mean, as long as you don't use any magic that has a permanent effect on your body or something like that, you could always go "fuck magic" and become an esper without bleeding to death.
A common point between all Kamachi works is that you can literally be a random middle aged janitor with no powers and you'd still be able to win against superpowered entities as long as you're able to analyze their powers. Discussing who beats who is pretty stupid.
It really depends on the esper power you have. Not to mention you can also just grab a gun yourself.
I really can't recall more than like 2 level 3 powers they're all level 5 or 4.
You can't because nobody fucking knows what the "average" of a level 3 espers are, how the fuck do you even define this. Even the level 3 espers we are aware of have pretty different abilities and can easily fuck over a "guy with a gun", one of which doesn't even have a combat ability, are we just to assume that those who can are "special cases" and the ones who "lost" are the average?
Yes, but it means truly turning your back on magic in a gamble you probably won't win.
However many months or years you put into learning magic would be practically a waste, too.
You can do it, but you'd have to an idiot or desperate to actually go through with it.
If you end up like the guy in Norse SS who can't cast any spell worth shit it's worth a shot. Or if you find out that guess what, no one wants to teach you and self study is dangerous as fuck and hard to do since magic texts aren't just lying around you might as well.
If you are shit-tier at magic you might as well try your luck.
It's a choice between the certainty of being an usless mage or the possibility of being a strong esper. Even if the gamble fails, you would just go back to where you started minus not ever being able to use the magic you already sucked at again.
People didn't like the harem. I for one liked the arc though
We'll see them when it's time to add them all to a harem at once.
The older you are going through the curriculum, the less chance you get at a power. There is a reason you don't see adult espers. When you realise magic is shit, it's already too late for an esperification.
This, Weather you liked him or not, Kamisato was an interesting character with a fairly unique view point whose fears were somewhat justified.
His harem was composed almost entirely of massive cunts though.
You don't see adult espers because this is the first generation and they're experimenting on school kids. Amata even says he's not dumb enough to get his brain tore open for some esper power.
Came out of nowhere, put a shitton of not particularly interesting or likeable characters into the spotlight and lasted relatively long.
I didn't really hate it, but those four volumes definitely could have been spent on something better.
>hype the Kamisato vs Touma fight
>stretch the whole arc for four fucking volumes
>take Kamisato, arguably the only interesting character among his shitty faction, and focus as little as possible on him
>instead waste four volumes with "MUH KAMISATO" retarded haremettes
>literally every haremette that didn't side with Touma as an annoying and arrogant cunt
>Touma didn't even get to punch the people who deserved it
Aside from that, I thought Yuuitsu was a shit villain, but some people seemed to like her.
I think this would have been good, if it happened near the start of NT and every couple volumes you see the "rookie" show up and get caught up in something or do shit to Touma it might be neat.
Problem is he was also introduced by the concept of magic gods who we only just finished exploring.
>implying either Aleister or Laura are going to be the big bad
I know most of you will disagree, but I seriously believe both of them are going to be btfo by someone they didn't see coming.
Would you say they never saw it coming?
The problem is that she didn't do shit in the end.
She had an interesting motivaiton and a cool power but instead of doing anything with it she spent 70% of the arc hiding and once she finally did something and stole WR, she spent the rest of the arc doing nothing again till she got murdered by the haremettes.
Me too. I think Kamisato is a pretty cool character who contrasts Touma. His harem is a hit and miss, but Salome and Fran are great. I also love the execution behind Touma and Kamisato's fight there in NT14 myself, which was simply understood and inevitable both both parties right after the Birdway sisters' situation was dealt with and how the all the girls said nothing and slowly moved back to a form a circle, knowing that the fight was going to happen.
>Aside from that, I thought Yuuitsu was a shit villain, but some people seemed to like her.
I liked her because she was using a ton of stuff. She stole Kamisato's arm with a mix of science and Saint Germain's power, then tried to make her own version of AAA. Honestly, she was the best part of the Kamisato arc for me. I like this type of villain. As far as Raildex villains go she was quite unique indeed, most of them tend to be one trick ponies or overpowered pieces of shit. Also, I did like how her motivation for fucking with Aleister and Kamisato was the loss of best romance doge.
I don't think she has shown up since NT2 plus I don't think she can go angel mode without putting LO in a coma.
all speculation going off of Crowley saying it was supreme. The gods called it a failure and said it wouldn't be able to beat them, Hell we also were told that AAA is suppose to be a counter to Aiwass. But we still don't know so using innocent until proven guilt logic, it is at the top until proven weaker just like crowley.
I think so, if he is really stronger than Aleister but with Keikaku man you might never know.
One minute he looks like the most intimidating motherfucker in the world and in the next minute he is a loli. The absolute madman.
>Aleister wanted Choronzon to take a place in the Church
>since it was in an Archbishops body, it's connected to Heaven
>Touma punches it in the climax of NT
>Touma just ended the Aeon of Osiris
I don't want crazy happenings and super action. I just want comfy SOL with Touma in Academy City.
It's not a who beats who and we don't know what Crowley magic does to Noukan's AAA besides giving it the ability to kill immortals. honestly offensively it isn't that strong just look at where mikoto AAA placed without the crowley buff. it doesn't work on power level just like nothing else above fiamma does. It killed PH with a drill but we saw the other gods walk off planet level attacks in NT17 it is clearly a rock paper scissors thing but it ends up high just by that.
When has Touma enjoyed a single moment of comfiness ever since WW3 ended?
Poor guy can't even enjoy two hours of peace without someone showing up and dragging him into some world-ending battle against some overpowered crazy asshole.
Terra's problem is he can't go through more than one thing at a time. If he said flour > people and tried to mow down the faction he might get one or two but then he's going to tap against a plastic sword or something and it'll stop.
He's still my favorite though.
>shot in the head
>told touma if he touched the broom the fall would kill them both
>needs fodder bodies
Crowley so far works entirely on counters and knowledge. I don't think he has god tier raw power, he just knows everyone's weakness.
It was an unfortunate situation for everybody involved, but I found the Noukan vs Kamisato fight really interesting because it showed another aspect of Crowley's nature. The Plan was for Noukan to die in that fight, but Aleister actually wanted Noukan to defeat Kamisato. He wanted romance dog to surpass the scope of The Plan, I suppose it would be like seeing a miracle for Aleister. He knew it wasn't going to happen and Noukan was marching to his death, but his personality is that of a hopeless romantic like Noukan himself. Poor keikaku man, in the end The Plan is all he will ever have. There is no other way for him, no third option.
I really hope that 10x expectations power is legit that sounds like a really cool ability. Just chant some high level thing to magicians and freak them out and they die to their own perceptions, but to an esper like Mikoto they just wonder if he's going to make a dove show up as a performer, and you get 10.
Well Aleister could have had any number of dark side groups or Level 5's come up with a plan to deal with her. What made her broken was the Divine Punishment spell. The wind spells weren't all that impressive.
>Aleister bodies are actually easily killable and the Blasting Rod could possibly not even work if you don't believe in magic
I'm not disappointing we didn't really get Mikoto killing him in a water puddle.
That's one of her abilities though, anyone he sends to eliminate her will just fall unconscious. He does have robots too which could work, but anyone else who would be sent to stop her wouldn't be able to do it he'd have to do it himself, and it's a bit much to expect GRS to have expected one of the most broken mages to have been sitting in AC
Technically, if you sent someone autistic enough to attack her without any ill will, he/she could hurt her.
The problem is that the moment you consider sending that person, you'd be hit by Divine Punishment.
