DEKU IS NOT THE "KID APPEAL" CHARACTER
Now that this theory is dropped, i think that Kaminari`s theory can be dropped too even with the new bad guy that resembles Kaminari, i mean i think that it is because the same reason: Everytime Horikoshi give us this littles hints it is because it is fucking not. My theory is that the traitor is someone powerful among heroes in UA, maybe Blood King, and with that it will affect all Class B and here you have another arc involving everyone and rescue and stuff.
Thanks for the pic and thanks for the statement. Now this thread is blessed.
Bakugou's Origin chapter should have been called "Po' lil boom boy"
If there are any Drawfags around. I kindly request a Tsuyu version of this image.
No way. I think Horikoshi isn't going to miss the chance to give a big reveal and fuck our brains, it would be a waste if all the hype builded for the traitor topic in this months resolves in "it was that shitty character no one even remember his name". It would piss me off, it must be something big like Mic or Jeanist, but it will be maybe someone without a 5/5 inteligence, someone that has been acting too good.
Pico NOT related
So, what kind of development do you guys think we will get out of Deku, Kirishima, Ochako and Tsuyu in this arc? Considering they are the only students in Class A to be in it, it has to have a reason
Ochako and Tsuyu will fight TogaDeku and Ochako will finally admit that she loves him
Deku will realize that he can't save everyone even if he activates madman mode
Kirishima is just there for the fujofaggots
reposting my shit taste to get anons to post theirs
I want to cum inside Bakugou's whore mom
This doesn't make any fucking sense
>Deku that low
>Birdbro and Kyoka that low
>Tailfag not bottom-tier
>Tooru not bottom tier
>Shouji top tier
>Sadrock that high
>Tsuyu bottom tier
Tsuyu leapt several feet in the air while carrying a teenage boy in her arms and another on her tongue.
And how exactly do Bakugo and Todoroki have such high physical strength?
I wonder if ryukyu turns into a dragon. Or if anything she has dragon abilities like fire breath and strength
>Tsuyu leapt several feet in the air while carrying a teenage boy in her arms and another on her tongue.
Really, Tsuyu should incorporate more kicks into her fighting style, like Deku.
Why do people not report these blatant rule breaking threads? Fucking anime always ruins everything, these threads are fucking infested with secondaries and tumblrfucks.
Even then, it doesn't make much sense.
>Tsuyu's strong as fuck, being able to leap several meters in the air while carrying Deku and Grape, but is bottom-tier
>Denki's scrawny as fuck but is that high
>Deku's ripped as fuck even without OFA but is below Mina, Denki and Vinehair
>Sero's gotta be pretty strong to swing around on his tape
>A pudgy girl like Ochako not bottom-tier
>Don't enter BNHA threads for 1 day
>TRAITOR memes are still circulating
Literally what the fuck are these threads gonna be about when you guys actually see the traitor?
Bakugo's pretty ripped and has explosion-boosted punches, and Todoroki's entire existence has been lived for the purposes of surpassing All-Might. You think Endeavour didn't have him on a strict physical fitness regime since he could walk?
I wonder if The Hauler with his current capabilities could go pro if he had been 5 years younger
It just seems from glance more like general fitness. From that perspective, Tsuyu seems off but otherwise you have to remember Deku was a NEET who a crash course in training for All Mights power, while other characters have been doing this much longer. Deku will inevitably climb.
Thats just my guess, though. The 3 at the top seem like more like "Top physical shape" rather than just quirks.
So who's going to be the arch-nemesis of each student?
Stain just cut him once and it was over
Kinda bullshit methods to be flawless as a hero when he permantly cripples "good heros", but hey unless you're literally All Might you're a shit Hero according to stain
And that is true. Only All Might should be a hero or every hero should be like All Might.
It's not about the power but the mentality.
He is a huge Nerd, a Hero Otaku and during middle school a looser bullyed by his whole class, but most certainly not a NEET or a hikikomori . Stop using words you dont understand.
But why? He's super scary. Poor Katsuki was sobbing on national TV.
What is Deku doing with his finger in this fight? Is he putting it in his mouth so he can ping it against Todoroki's Ice blast?
Music is amazing, with the animation during most fights looking great. We'll have to see how good the adaptation is when we get to the Deku vs Todoroki fight and if it has the animation to carry it.
Im honestly suprised as to how little Tsuyu gets the spotlight
Considering her popularity in the series, and yet Mina and Momo still get more screentime
If you factor in screentime (or paneltime, call it what you will), her apparent popularity is confusing. So far she hasn't got any major screentime aside from the USJ arc and final exams. The current arc is potentially her first opportunity to get a major screentime
Mina never does anything meaningful while Tsuyu has been in focus like 5 times. Even got her own short chapter.
Horikoshi isn't against violence, but I'm not sure if he'll write in death too often. He did kill Magne in a pretty gruesome way, but Eri getting popped could be a little too intense. Also Japanese readers might get pissed.
Well shit, most heroes do that. Definitions change over time. Gender being a modern example.
>All heroes should commit reckless suicide because even though they dont have one of the broken powers.
Also what is All Mights mentality as opposed to Kouta's parents or Ingenium or the pussycats?
If Overhaul's quirk can cure even cavities, then why does the man himself have a scar?
Well Tsuyu is pretty basic, shes cute with a nice personality, and a basic power that can be entertaining when applied right
Where as someone like Mina has a problem that her power could be to strong
If she could also say, bind things with her goo instead of only melting things, then she could actually do stuff. But being acid or just a slippery slime, theres not much she could do in a fight that isnt burning someones face off
Eri dying would be uncalled for. That's like killing character for the sake of killing. No party involved would want her die. She's integral to OH's plan. VA would want her if they knew her ability. Heroes..are just being heroes and want to save her.
I'm just saying, only two characters throughout the entire series so far has shown that level of heroism. Deku got the powers because of his heroism, not the other way around.
Honestly, if you threw Stain in the world of modern American comics and superhero movies, he would be 100% correct about everything. Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if Stain is Hori commentating on how awful comics have been lately.
That would make sense. That added to the fact that it's extremely painful for Overhaul to heal you.
Yeah. Still, while I buy your explanations his sidekick's Mimic's quirk and his sidekick Chronostatsis's name being Chronostatis makes me think he can't really heal people, just make it seem that way for a bit
And that's why they're the only true heroes. Stain wanted every hero to be like that but being a hero became a job.
>the word "hero" must be restored
All Might goes out of his way to save someone any time. Ingenium does his daily quota, gets his cash and goes home.
Kill her just feel like it makes narrative sense. Deku having his first failure could do a lot for his character. I doubt Hori would do it, but it feels like it would make a lot of sense.
A part of me also doesn't want Overhaul to get defeated right now. Putting him on the back burner seems more appropriate due to him being such a cool villain that could go in a lot of directions.
I want to know why All Might and Deku wanted to be heroes. Deku has wanted to be like All Might since early age because he's fucking All Might but its near obsessive about it. All Might wanted to arrogantly be a symbol. Did they want to feel better about themselves from when they were quirkless faggots with nothing special about them? I doubt it'll touch on that because it's too real but still.
I understand Stain is coming from. People are redefining the word gender but that shit comes with the history. Nobody else has the capability of All Might, it's that simple. Even if there are some devoted to their work, they will never ever ever do as much as AM.
the theory is that the doctor who tended to AfO and the doctor who told Deku he has no quirk is the same doctor -bald, mustache, glasses- and he hid something about Deku's quirk.
As I said it's not about the power. Let's take the illegals for example. Two of them have shit quirks and one of them is a quirkless ghetto batman. Stain would like them cause they do what they do to actually help people. Their actions are selfless.
High Jump might be a bit mundane but it's a decent power
I'd like to see that as well. She thinks ochako likes him and I could see this as a way to make her step up. After ashido sees the madman tho she might back off, but be friendly enough to stay in the forefront.
That and deku freaking out is always great.
Tumblr has the most niche art. Which is to be expected, since they love subgroups and degeneracy.
Finally getting caught up on the last few chapters and HOLY FUCK KIRISHIMA IS COOL
I still find it amazing how Kirishima can go form a beast like that to the softest boy
You talking shit about my husbando?
The story probably won't just stop when he graduates. Academia means a place where someone can learn, so it doesn't have to be a school. Beating Shigaraki while in highschool and ending AfO's terror doesn't make sense.
Mina used her goo to climb a wall and during the license exam she had a goo shield floating around her. It's actually a very versatile quirk. Or at least more versatile than Tsuyu slapping people with her tongue
But with the proper context. They just saw him goad Todoroki into overpowering him, without knowing he was trying to save him. If they saw him protect Kouta, then they would view him differently outside of reckless.
Didn't he fail in preventing Baku from getting kidnapped? But yeah, I agree that Izu must eventually fail to save someone that ends with their death
Though I think that role would be best served by AM. The pupil failed rescuing the mentor. Breakdown ensues
I'm gonna bet that's going to be hype and suspenseful AF
>If they saw him protect Kouta, then they would view him differently outside of reckless.
But they don't just see him as reckless though. Thats part of it, because he's still insane, but he's friends with more of the class than practically anyone else anyway.
Well, anon, I think we will just have to agree to disagree then
Hell no. Even if Modern day Cap still held his old morals, he would have to admit that Cap is one of the few real superheroes left, if not the only. But he's too busy trying to sell movie tickets.
Shigaraki killing All Might would also work. Eri just seems to be the most imminent. I guess her getting kidnapped by Toga-Deku is more likely, as Shigaraki would have the upper hand to both Overhaul and Deku.
I'm just saying he has yet to really prove to anyone as to why he gets those injuries. Deku protecting a random student (Like Jirou or Sero) from a villain and giving it his all just seems like the perfect thing to do.
Or he'll just be given a lot of credit to the defeat of Overhaul, and the students will actually see his worth.
Well, he did decide, but Midnight didn't let him, so no, he still doesn't have a hero name. Some say he will go with Kacchan, but that really doesn't make a lot of sense. Other say maybe "Ground Zero", since thats the Hori name Hori said he wanted to give him before the series started
Shiggy gets AfO, BTFO's Deku and kills All Might.
Villains getting stronger and stronger under Shiggy's rule while Deku is turning full madman because he can't catch/defeat Shiggy.
Obviously Shiggy would need to finish is character arc and become competent first.
Ochaco, Iida, Tsu, and Mineta came to him in while recovering from Todoroki fight. Plus Todoroki/Bakugo, The group that went to rescue Bakugo, etc. Even getting help from Ojiro. Plus half the class after the Hero/Villain fights wanting to introduce themselves to him.
Other than the people that don't get much screentime, he's kinda close to them all.
> Out of the three central characters, only Izu has chosen his hero name
> "Deku" is only meaningful to him. Since he was bullied and not taken seriously all his life
> Deku doesn't carry the same meaning of comforting and saving people like All Might or even Lumillion
> Hero name can still change
Calling it now. He won't stay as Deku forever. Todo and Baku will eventually choose their hero name after they get enough development and become "true" hero. Then Deku will be the last to change his name into something meaningful. Because by then, he's already confident in himself
But the name does carry a meining of "Never giving up" Ochako gave it to him, and Midoriya now carries that nickname as a symbol of the words Ochako gave it, not the "useless" that it was originally from Bakugou
This looks exactly like Midorya minus the the eyes and the side-cuts,where is the originality in this ?
True, hence why I said the name is only meaningful to him (and Ochako, to some extent) as it is the name that symbolizes the turning point of how he sees himself. For others, the name still implies "blockhead" or "useless" (refer to Mirio's scene). Izu will hopefully grew out of the name once he is confident in himself
He was bullied his entire life; His social skills are underdeveloped at best. And ontop of that, he doesn't care about going full madman and hurting himself -> worrying others. I don't think anyone hates him, but I doubt he has many friends.
Speaking of hero names. Will we see another torch-passing /a/? Pic related
>Ochako, Iida, Todoroki(?), Asui, Mineta(?), Tokoyami, and Kirishima
That honestly feels like that's it. He'll befriend more of them in the future once they get more into the spotlight.
>this happened after the Hero/Villain battles
>Got the most votes for president early on
>continued to make more friends as the arcs went on
Outside of Kirishima maybe who else has been shown hanging around more people? He's easily the top 2-3 most well liked person in the class.
Leave your headcanons behind.
none other than the "Eraserhead lookalike"
>Got the most votes for president early on
>He's easily the top 2-3 most well liked person in the class.
Being likeable and having friends are very different things, anon.
>official twitter just posted this
what does it mean
>solos multiple villains alone in the first LoV raid
>quits student tournament halfway through
Does he have a confidence problem?
I think it probably won't. Unless Deku gets a public fight ala what happened with Kirishima, I see the whole ordeal with OH as being largely underground and away from the public attention, thus his name will stay largely unknown
It totally is. It's a cute hero name for little kids to latch onto. Imagine her becoming a famous hero and a parent buying "Froppy" merch for their like 5 year old. That's the kind of public image see her having in general.
Maybe this is why her being into straight-shota is a thing among h-artists
Yes three votes. Literally more than everyone else. And that was before anyone knew each other.
>Being likeable and having friends are very different things, anon.
Are they not his friends though? Honestly? Because that sounds like bullshit. Comparatively speaking, he has more than just about anyone in his class. Just because they aren't all like Ochaco doesn't mean they aren't his friends.
Its a very shitty angle to take here. By any measurement from what the manga has shown Deku has a larger group of people he hangs out with and is casual with than just about anyone else. How else are you going to define friends? Either way everyone else has way less range.
He's a regular guy with a tail, among demigods who can shoot fire and ice from their hands, one-shot 80 meter tall robots and spit acid.
Wouldn't you have a confidence problem?
Wait, has Izuku only gotten to work one day under Nighteye?
What the shit did he mean by this? It sounds like he intends to give Shigaraki AfO or at least multiple quirks but why hasnt he done so. Is he waiting until the prison break and his death before doing it?
Shoto should take on the mantle of Equinox the Thermodynamic Man
It means exactly what it sounds like. Tomura is kind of an idiot, Jeanist only made his quirk so powerful because he honed it to the max. Tomura couldn't do that so it's no use to steal it for him
They are really immature sounding, they fit to be their names as long as they are still children but after that they just NEED to be changed. Tail Man is kinda ok, he's a really plain guy so it's fitting but the others sound like what they are, names some small children picked
I'm an accountant so probably TurboJew
I hate this fucking meme. If any one of the girls is 'pudgy' it'd be Momo, but that's because it feels like Hori draws here differently every time.
A more interesting version would be what your quirk would be in-universe. Since most of the names Hori gives characters directly reference their quirk and/or personality, it's not hard to categorize one's own name in a similar fashion.
I'd just have some boring healing quirk, feels bad.
I really need to see a one chapter spin off for this, this is really interesting. He is a nice character and I'd like to see him involved in the story once, it's just hard though because his quirk is kind of an insta win.
All very good examples!
I know I said not to be shy about it, but Anon...
Nobody reports these stupid fucking idiots and then people complain:
>Hurr why do we have 24/7 threads?
>Why do people spam threads with offtopic shit no one gives two fucks about?
>why do people post fujoshit nonstop?
>Why are threads so shit?
Thats why, because you fucking allow them to. If you just took 2 fucking minutes to report the shit that needs to be reported it would make a world of difference.
Gravity Manipulation is OP as shit though
>Reducing the weight of heavy stuff to carry it or use it as a weapon
>Creating black holes
>Increasing someone's weight enough to immobilise them, or crush them to death with their own weight/objects pulled in toward them
>Removing gravity like Ochako
>Realigning gravity, i.e make it pull someone sideways instead of downward
>Anchoring yourself to the ground
It'd need some pretty hefty drawbacks to be balanced
m8... Mina is the resident phat ass girl, Hagakure is almost as stacked as Momo, even Tsuyu has a filled out figure that's only hidden by her shit posture. Only Jirou is shafted in the curves department, but it looks like the merchandising/promo art department is plumping up her tits and hips to match her peers.
I guess it feels like she's softer than the other girls because it's part of her design. It goes with her personality and powers.
not any more so than the other girls, bar Jirou and maybe Tsuyu because she's less than 5 feet tall.
I hear she's cheap anon go for it
To be honest i believe that some anime exists only the be there for teenagers of course they are going to have big tits for some of then for teenagers bigger tits = more views (from some but not all teenagers, i mean i like big tits as well but teenagers will be more drawn to them)
Going with >>157029353
So, my three given names have the parts that mean "The People", a derivative of Mars, and "Who is like God?"
My family name is just gibberish though.
>The people who are like the god of war.
I am a hivemind. I can create additional bodies of myself that are connected to my original body with cords resembling umbilical cords. I can control the bodies in unison or individually, but the more bodies I have, the more difficult it becomes to control them all at once effectively.
If the cord coming from a body is cut, the husk dies. I can't remove a husk in any other way than cutting it off.
My name is Phalanx.
>He feels off because he's too normal
> a guy who don't even flinch at shooting you in the face
he has almost no emotion even when you compare him to a straightlace like Sir.
So far, the Origin chapters have been directly linking them to AM and Deku is a part of them, but it could easily change. Aizawa did say that Deku (and Bakugou) are the de facto leaders of the class and promote others to grow around themI would still want Origin chapters for Momo and Iida
They give enough of a shit to delete grapefucker every time he shows his retarded mug. Why cant they delete this shit like they used to in the past? Rolling threads are against the rules.
I agree with both of you but everyone needs to stop saying THICC XD when the girl clearly isn't
It's not that Tomura couldn't do that, it's that a quirk that needs insane amounts of training to be even somewhat useful, is unnecessary when you have AfO.
The best Quirks would be things like super strengh, speed or durability. Or teleportation. Quirks that can easily be combined.
>Momo: Rich cunt, heroing is cool might as well become one cause I have a good quirk.
>Iida: Family legacy
Iida kind of already had an origin. Most of these people Bakugo especially, wanted to be heroes for mundane shit.
It's actually a pretty good spin off. Sure, it doesn't have mad man deku, but it's a nice add on the worldbuilding.
Also I think it's a montly thing, so It's not like you're gonna waste hours and hours on it.
This is always a bad idea.
Don't do this please.
>Named after a Saint
>Surname straight out of the bible
>insane amounts of training to be even somewhat useful
I wouldnt say Jeanist's quirk is unuseful by itself. it actually sounds broken by the sound of it from a villain capturing standpoint. It's just the other stuff like pulling people away by their fibers that is hard to do.
I guess reaffirming their drive to become heroes would be cool. I'm just curious to see why someone like Momo, who is extremely well off, would decide to become a hero. Hopefully it's something more complex than, "It's the right thing to do."
Bakugo's is literally
>I want to be a hero cause I'm a winner and I'll continue to win XD
is probably the lowest reason we've seen so far so Momo's cant be worse. It makes Bakugo an interesting character though cause he's such a fag. Probably to raise her self esteem or something.
Thanks for pointing it out.
>My full name would be "Strength of a bear god of war".
Rate my quirk idea:
Weapon spawning: This person can spawn any weapon they have ever held before in their hands (or other appropriate wielding locations). Letting go of the weapon, be it on purpose, on accident, knocked out of their hand or quirk deactivation despawns the weapon right away.
The sole exception is when throwing the weapon, in this case it'll only despawn after it hits anything or anyone at all.
This quirk only works for melee and throwing weapons, so no bows or guns.
You sound like someone with the ability to bear arms. Your quirk would most likely be very rip'n'tear.
Damn, everyone who has a name derivative of Marcus is destined to be a badass.
So cool desu!
I'd probably limit its potential to some kind of hammerspace that deposits items according to how the hands held them and withdraws those items when the hands assume those same positions. So if you vanished a coin between two fingers, doing the same gesture lets the coin reappear.
I feel like there's more to Kirishima that we know, but he already had his moment to shine, so I don't know
Yeah, Izuku's motivation was also trivial "He looks so cool while saving people". I was worried that Baku's view towards AM would lessen somewhat since his loss, but no. AM refusing to lose to AFO only made him look up to AM more. I see Baku will become the personification of Indomitable Will
>Kirishima is a reforming villain
>the reason he decided to make his hero name and costume a homage to whatshisname is because he was the hero that beat him and helped to set him straight
Just for fun, and I got ass pilled by reading this: http://saisai-chan.tumblr.com/post/153745493434/now-im-a-new-follower-so-if-youve-answered-an this Tumblr shit has no limit.
I was thinking about what would be an appropriate quirk that formed a pun with my name.
And then I remembered my last name's Steel.
