How do you keep your anime images organized, /a/? Just dump them

I keep everything on the same level in the Downloads folder.
I believe I need a better system.

I have a folder and then I organize pictures by series most of the time. If I have like one or two pictures I just throw them into an unorganized folder

separate them via reaction/reference folder

and inside those folders are other folders specific to the said reaction/reference. It works for me. I currently have ~50gb in images alone and it's been going swell

Locally hosted booru is a good idea, I have a partially sorted by series folder that I stopped caring about because reaction images are for newfags.

Does anyone have the image of Western vs. Japanese versions of things? Where everything on the Japanese side is just a cute girl

It's a nice program. If you subscribe to the public tag repository, you can get some tags for images others have already tagged. Or you can go local tags only, or some combination.

I have a folder I use for seasonal anime and another for general images and memes. Sometimes I'll makes a separate folder if I really like the series or if I have hundreds of images from the same series.

You can also go a little crazy with specific tags and other things when searching, as well as view how many images are tagged with what.

For reaction images:

For full images:

And then I have a separate "Anime & Manga" folder specifically for... well, all of my anime and manga.
I have OCD and organize like crazy, so I have a lot of sub-folders. I usually only make folders for an anime or sub-folders for whatever when I get about ten images of [anime/character] or if I'm expecting myself to save more images of said anime/character in the future. The deepest my sub-folders have gone is eight directory layers deep. My 4chan folder has about 8k files and 170 folders in it.
