Say nice things about Yotsuyu and Aishou
Yotsuyu can a nice fight. Semen and fucknuckle are always a good choice.
Aishou was pretty interesting. JJL shines with how the minor one arc characters keep returning and actually feel entwined in the overall story instead of being a ora and dump.
Hope Plant Guy is pretty chill.
Yotsuyu's stand is one of the greatest stand designs in Jojo. It's just so cool looking. 10/10. Also it's reveal was fairly badass as well. Shame it's such a jobber, like the rest of the rock men.
Aishou doesn't deserve all that happened to him.
>Hope Plant Guy is pretty chill
He literally hijacks a bus and orders Gappy and Yasuho to be his bodyguards.
I hope his stand is cool though.
I need help with something, jojofags:
I am trying to make a mashup with pic related's theme in asb, but I cant seem to find the bpm for it.
>abbacchio will never tell you to shut your fucking mouth
Give me your best JoJo shirt.
I'm pretty sure you can find a tumblr user who identifies as Abbacchio who can tell you to shut your mouth.
I'm still fucking pissed because my ex boyfriend got sucked into that shit and now he has, like, 47 different "alters" or whatever the fuck otherkin shit. Fucking Pesci and Shigechi are amongst them.
That reminds me of something disturbing.
Why are JJBA fans like this?
Got myself some large fries today. Is this was paradise feels like?
I brought KFC today out of curiosity and fucking hell. The fries were the only nice thing.
Never trust a rock's recommendation.
For protagonists, Jolyne or Joseph would be the closest to a deviant. The former masturbates in prison on display, is envious of snails for their sexual capabilities, etc and the latter chose fug over loyalty to his wife. DIO wins for villains, Kira second.
The only named actual sexual deviant I can think of right now is Angelo.
Or Wes. Incest is not wincest.
I'd say he has good taste in music
But yeah Dolomite has no taste otherwise. He's bland as fuck.
Tsurugi only crossdresses because he's scared of dying.
Sure, he also wants to rape Yasuho, but at this point in the comic, who doesn't?
Let's set it once and for all;
How did Jotaro defeated DIO?
>muh bad leg
Bullshit, how can you explode from a kick in your leg? Was it the same thing as what Stroheim talked about the exact amount of damage a pillar man can take?
Also, how did Polnaref almost killed DIO as he said himself just by piercing his brain (Pol just had to torn his brain a little and the job was done) and Jotaro punched him to the point of making him sick when pic related happened without any repercussion?
How is everything related with Dio filled with non-sense and plothole?!
>just Grateful Dead
Beach Boy made that fight. Bruno unzipping himself to near death is one of the best moments.
It's some bullshit about how Dio healed because he was a vampire, but The World didn't so it was weaker... Utter bullshit, but it's at least an explanation.
He was lying to make Polnareff feel bad about not finishing him. He revels in making people feel like shit.
Tsurugi is actually a pretty cool guy once he's not on Yotsuyu's side anymore. Wonder if we'll ever see an older version of him.
Doppio, but since Diavolo would probably never let us fuck I'll say Giorno
Old Joseph, Jotaro (does hate fucking count as consensual sex?) or Kars (I would let him rape me consensually forever)
Reminder Pucci did nothing wrong.
Everything he did was for the Greater Good until a kid kills him mercilessly and ruins everything.
My answer was Diavolo until you said consensually
So Erina just welcomed Dio within her coffin?
And if she did then:
When they grabbed her and she decided to say nothing about Dio still being alive and inside the coffin?
They also decided that they should seal the coffin and let it drown instead of bringing it with them?
He probably got inside before her
In the pic you posted, his brain is cut in half but is otherwise intact. If Polnareff had moved his sword about wildly while still inside DIO's head, as he said, it would have torn his brain apart before it could regenerate. DIO explicitly uses the phrase 'tore my brain apart' when talking about how Pol could've killed him if he had a little more time.
How did she fucking miss that? She was in the room. She still missed her husband's body being decapitated and Dio taking over his body and sliding in the coffin? While in the same room?
Also my second point of after they found her they sealed the coffin and let it drown instead of keeping it.
The entire room was engulfed in flames and smoke
And why would a rescue team keep a seemingly empty coffin
Besides Dio was probably still attaching himself to Jonathan's body
Its easy to forget the start of a story
What happened to Josuke post DiU?
He just live a normal life until he becomes old like Joseph?
When will Araki write about Josuke travelling back in time to rescue his younger self who was having a fever?
>What happened to Josuke post DiU?, He just live a normal life until he becomes old like Joseph?
>When will Araki write about Josuke travelling back in time to rescue his younger self who was having a fever?
Never because it never happen
I would do Anasui before she took hormones and became a man.
Dear god this can't be real
If I recall correctly, Yonkou's spoilers are never his, he just steals them off another website.
He probably became a cop and dedicated his life to protecting the people of Morioh like his grandpa.
The man who saved him might be the Josuke-looking guy who showed up in that Rohan one shot
You're a repressed homosexual if you don't want to date him.
Would you date him, if he looked like this?
Can anyone defeat this duo?
Wow I remember posting some of this shit kek
But it didn't come out of nowhere , it was already established that the winner was the one who got the arrow. Arrows give you want you want for your problems Girono problem was KC so he hot the perfect counter to KC
so is parts 4 and 6
i like to think of jojo parts as in trilogies
1,2, and 3 are the original trilogy
parts 4,5, and 6 are the gay kids
parts 7 and 8 (and soon 9) are the alternate universe
i like to think that there are 2 types of requiems
one where you stab yourself, and the ability is related to your stands ability (bite za dusto can explode people)
and that stabbing your stand creates an ability much unlike that of your original stand (what does body switching have to do with a sword?)
look at josuke and tell me thats not gay
also his stand is pink with a bunch of hearts on it
King Crimson is "understandable" insofar as it's obvious what Araki CLAIMS it does, it just doesn't do it in practice. If he erases a chunk of time and its effects, why do things like physical movement still occur? Also, if King Crimson's actions are not affected by the erased time, what makes the stand any different than The World? If they ARE affected by the erased time, why does he go out of his way to do things like flick blood in people's eyes in the erased time
Some people say if Jotaro tricked him into getting beat by sunlight, it'd have been better but I can't say I agree. It'd drag out the fight too long.
In my opinion, I think it'd have been cool if Joseph's blood was hamon infused and by absorbing it Dio was crippled. It'd play on the idea that no matter what DIO does to kill the good Joestar bloodline, he'd always lose. This would be solidified by Giorno becoming a man that would make Jonathan proud.
nigger he doesnt actually do anything with time
he just makes everyone go to sleep, do actions that they would have done (predicted by ephrata) and he can do things not predicted (so like doing something against thoth except without consequence) then those people wake up after 10 seconds
Time is erased but fate isn't. If it is fated for a person to walk down the hall, they'll have walked down the hall even in skipped time. I dunno, thats just a drunk thought on it.
Difference between The World and King Crimson is that everyone and everything stops except for DIO when he uses The World. Meanwhile, everyone and everything is on autopilot during erased time when Diavolo uses King Crimson. Flicking blood on people's eyes is obviously meant for the element of surprise since they won't see it coming.
So why doesn't he just kill people in the "erased time" when everyone's on autopilot? Like he almost always dodges or blinds someone and then attacks after things go back to normal. Also, why does he talk about causes and effects when using his stand?
He can't physically attack people during erased time since that would be way too OP. King Crimson erases the cause and keeps the effect. That's why his famous quote is, "Only the results matter!"
So he does erase time? And how can he throw blood in your eyes if he can't attack you? And if he erases the cause but keeps the effect, how does it let him avoid damage? Shouldn't the attack disappear but the damage remain?
That's because he's a total bro
So his blood, even after leaving his body, is not affected by the erasure of time? Why? Giorno turned his blood into ants after it left his body because it was "no longer animate", so shouldn't Diavolo's blood no longer be part of him, so to speak, thus removing the immunity to time erasure that he has?
What are you talking about? Everything is a part of erased time. Diavolo erases time and squeezes blood and flicks it onto Giorno's face then just as it's about to splash on his face erased time ends and the blood splashes on Giorno's face.
>one where you stab yourself, and the ability is related to your stands ability (bite za dusto can explode people)
didnt he just like
bump into the arrow
or it like got sucked into him?
Everything is still ongoing in erased time. Hence why I said autopilot before. Diavolo is essentially intangible when he erases time from what you saw in the Metallica fight. But since he finishes erased time before the blood comes in contact then the blood will still hit Giorno's face. Diavolo is the only person who knows what he's doing in erased time.
i have an idea
the reason KC is so complicated is because akari is just forgetful and adds in all these plotholes that people think is a part of the ability
just as giorno should have been able to make his senses go faster than his body could, making the slo-mo punch
He does. Did you read King Crimson vs Metallica? Also when he donuts Buccellati, everything outside the church is skipped/erased. That's why the whole gang was acting normal as if they were on autopilot but Giorno was the only one to notice something weird going on.
I agree, but that was my original point: it's a badly written Stand.
Giorno making ants out of his own blood doesn't mean anything.
This is the guy who can turn almost anything into almost anything.
Giorno turns his teeth or lip or whatever into a jellyfish to avoid drinking piss.
Nothing really makes sense for the blood to disappear anyway
I was referring to Diavolo flicking blood in erased time, I was wondering why the blood he flicked wouldn't have the same nullification since it was no longer part of him; I brought up Giorno's blood because he said that he could transform his blood because it was no longer animate (thus no longer part of him). However, this guy >>157001147 has brought us back to "actions aren't erased in erased time, only perception"
Just watched the anime for part 4, is it me or did Superfly end a bit different? or do i remember it wrong? i recall the guy using his blood to make Josuke fall off in the manga or something like that.
i mean it probably had his dna in it still, and solidification means that the chromosomes (or whatever theyre called in the nucleus im not a biologist) dissolved, since clotted blood cells cannot undergo cellular division
Jesus Christ why is everybody in this thread fucking gay
>he does this to each and every Joestar
leaves their headless, bloated blob of a body to rot like a beached whale once it becomes too obese to function
This is the only song for a part 7 ed, no other song made by man could possibly be more appropriate
172cm is just a little above a manlet, and actually a decent height for someone who is 15 and can still grow.
He still has a long way to go to standard 195cm for a Joestar, though.
So I've been watching the anime and I'm at the starlight crusader battle in egypt part.
And I've been thinking but why doesn't Joseph teach them Hamon. I mean it's fucking useful.
I get that you have stands and shit but using both would be even better.
How is part 6 gay? It is a great conclusion to the original universe and everyone in the Ireneverse have better lives than they had in the previous original universe.
Joseph probably thought they didn't have enough time to train, and unlike him at his age, Jotaro didn't have any Hamon skills
The truth is, Araki wanted to move past it and do some new ideas, Hamon was becoming pretty restrictive as a concept, "oh, Hamon can also do THIS" becomes boring after a while.
Stfu it's difficult to write a good and coherent story for a weekly mnaga if you're writing and planning it on the go okay
Why didn't Bruno just use the walkie talkie to tell the team to come and back him up?
He should've used it when he was at the top of the elevator instead of coming down and facing Diavolo 1v1.
Because he's not an asshole, and he didn't want to get them all killed. He specifically says that he's not forcing them to follow him, and bears Fugo no grudge for calling it quits.
>it's probably the colour version too
I'm really curious how they'll handle the art direction in part 5. When looking back on part 3, part 4 really is a lot more "cartoony", which I suppose fits the overall less serious tone of the part, but I hope they don't just carry that over to part 5.
Part 3 might've lacked some flair here and there, but I miss its much better backgrounds and shading which part 4 was lacking most of the time.
If there's no opera music playing for at least one scene in the entire series, I'm going to be pissed.
Preferably something on par with this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcLjmxout-A
I think it's the pinnacle of that format of fights where both parties' powers are immediately made known, then are used in new inventive (either through multi-stand interactions, or the environment, or a biology textbook, or the bullshit that is White Album Gently Weeps) ways every two pages. It's like the more perfect version of a part 2 fight. No asspulls or new abilities like Star Finger or Star Platinum's The World, or fortunate interferences from off field like Metallica's death or most fights from Part 6. Just a nice balanced 2 vs 1 conceptual slugfest, like a powerlevel discussion done right. Then the using blood as a tool/weapon? Always cool as fuck. And the 『resolve』 in Mista fanning the fucking hammer into his own body?? God damn.
I bet Giorno was just standing barely out of frame watching for the longest time like the boss he is.
I must've been very forgiving when watching the anime, the quality in all these stills is making me wonder how many hours of same-face I was hypnotized by.
Also I love the different variations on the part 4 highschool uniform. Yuya Fungami's probably my favorite
>or most fights from Part 6
>Goo Goo dolls is defeated by Jolyne discovering her powers and using them
>Manhattan Transfer/Whitesnake are temporarily countered by Jolyne and Jotaro working together
>Highway To Hell is beaten by Hermes working alone
>Foo Fighters is beaten by Jolyne
>Marylin Manson is beaten by Jolyne
>Jumpin Jackflash is beaten by Weather and Jolyne
>Savage Garden had input from Weather (who was initially involved) but was ultimately Jolyne's victory
>Limp Bizkit was beaten by Hermes
>Planet Waves is beaten by Jolyne
>Dragons Dream is beaten by a fortunate interference from off-field
>Yo Yo Ma is neutralized by Anasui long before it's killed when its user is from off-field
>The Green Baby is never truly 'beaten' but stops attacking
>Foo Fighters is temporarily saved by Weather making it rain from off-field
>Jailhouse Lock is beaten by Jolyne with Emporio's help
>Bohemian Rhapsody is beaten by Weather Report
>Sky High is beaten by Jolyne
>Underworld is beaten by Hermes and Jolyne
>Heavy Weather vs Pucci is beaten by a fortunate occurrence from off-field
>C-Moon is outmatched by the team but achieves Heaven through fate
>Made In heaven beats the team with a combination of sheer speed and mind-games
>Emporio beats Pucci through cunning
2.5 fights at most concluded because of fortunate outside interferences.
You are an idiot.
i hope they
just reuse that song
it's the shit when they do that. it was hype as shit when sono chi no sadame came on when joseph put kars in checkmate.
was this araki's attempt at a romance? what a hack
Yeah but that was in the same season as Phantom Blood. On the contrary, I didn't notice any of the songs from Part 1 and 2 being reused in either Part 3 or 4 aside from remixes and new versions for the new part in question.
>part 8 takes place in 2011 which is already 6 years in the past
>part 6 was 11 years in the future when it started
>there has been a Jojo as young as 15 years old
Where's the issue?
Yeah, but how many parallel JoJos at the general age range for the main protag role do you assume exist in the same time period? The largest number we've had have been 2 by the time of Vento Aureo, since Jotaro is already too old by part 4. I guess it depends on how much Johnny's family tree branched between SBR and JoJolion, but I'm not sure if there is an official chart showing that or not.
>Parts 1-3: The Fathers
>Parts 4-6: The Sons (and a daughter, fuck)
>Parts 7-9: The Holy Spirit
What did Araki mean by this?
Sorry for being unclear. I'm mostly referring to the Joestar family tree of the SBR verse, and the possibilities it may house for other potential JoJo protagonists beyond Gappy.
I did find the family tree fairly easily though, and looking at it, it seems like George II did have way more children than just Joseph in this universe, none of which have been detailed, leaving way more possibilities for new modern JoJos in future parts of the manga.
Would be nice, but considering how the Jojos consistently have some kind of parent issues I wonder if Araki would ever write one with a mom and dad who are both alive, both around, and both stand users to boot. I can't see them being bad parents.
Can't think of a name but the ability is to slow down or speed up objects around them by up to 4x their speed or 1/4 their speed
Examples of uses: slow down bullets around them to dodge them, or speed up objects they throw/shoot to make them harder to dodge and hit harder
He wasn't raised by his mother, she was in prison and the local priest raised him and named him. Blame him. The priest was kind of weird though, he named a kid after the devil for no fucking reason then when he noticed he was flirting with girls he decided to buy him a car so he could pick up babes rather than educate on him on safe sex or do something priesty.
Stardust Crusaders anime then Diamond is Unbreakable anime. I'd recommend the manga over the anime though, the anime version of Part 2 is way better than the manga but after that the manga is still the superior option. SC and DiU anime aren't bad they just have tons of pacing issues and are when the series really starts coming into it's own and it just doesn't work quite as well animated as it does in print. Don't let me dissuade you from watching them, just keep that in mind. Also the anime has only completed the first four Parts, and it's like a third of the content the series has all up so you'll have to read eventually if you wanna keep going with the series. Most importantly have fun and don't rush it, the series is really easy to binge read but doing so really detracts from the experience.
>Catholic priests educating people on protected sex
I think the implication is that the people of his town/land are all weird cunts.
Some of 4 dragged on a but too much but in the anime there's the opposite problem; some arcs feel really rushed. July 14th was a really good change they made but the 39 episodes constraint meant there were other times they had rush and cut stuff to fit and it just feels awkward at some points.
Not really, the pace is a lot better in 5 since it's always moving forward and never really hits any snags or gets tied down with subplots. It's also like 19 chapters shorter than Part 4 which was 174 chapters, which would be far easier to fit in 39 episodes and not rush or drag things out.
It was pretty straightforward, there wasn't really anywhere to go with it but up. That said, stuff like Fugo being a traitor getting cut would probably have given the ending more impact, as is it's serviceable but doesn't really hit as hard as the other Parts, both before and after. It's sort of just like 'oh, it's over now, that was cool I guess' and didn't feel particularly climactic.
I don't think Araki ever intended an explosive finale for Part 5, given how early it was established that direct confrontation with King Crimson means instant death. I understand why he thought it'd be a cool idea to have a slow paced tactical fight as the finale to the most balls to the wall action oriented Part, but he didn't pull it off as well as he'd hoped I don't think.
Realistically how much longer do you think JJL has to go? I think for sure it's gonna be longer than SBR, but just how long I don't know. Damo's death felt like the end of a first act, since it was at that point that all the Higashikatas had finally had their introductory arcs and Josuke had figured out his identity and killed the guy who was responsible for all the shit that was happening to him. It seems like a good halfway point, or maybe only a third of the way if Araki set it up like DiU in that he'll write it for however long he wants to and intends to ride it out until he retires. There's still so many things that need answering, and every time we get answers we're left with twice as many questions.
The difference with SBR is that it was weekly for 24 chapters and after a while it felt like Araki was tired of writing it, despite it getting really good towards the end. I don't see JJL being any shorter than the 96 chapters SBR was, and even then it's actually the kind of story with the right setup to last that long and not drag on like a more straightforward story like SBR would if it had been any longer.
So who do you guys think Dolomite was talking to in the last chapter? Josuke is pretty sure he was trying to display to someone that he knew nothing about the Rokakaka and was therefore not worth killing, but who that would be is beyond me. At first I thought it was Jobin but he wouldn't have told Josuke it was Jobin that he was working with if that was the case, plus the fact that he was working with Jobin means that Jobin would already be aware of how much Dolomite knew and he wouldn't be trying to explain his actions when it was Jobin who egged him on in the first place. Do you think there are still other groups who want the Rokakaka? Given that Dolomite shows there are Rock Humans in Morioh that aren't part of Damo's gang then it might be possible that there are some who are trying to take over in the power vacuum that was left after Damo got skullfucked. I doubt all of them were in on it, as we see with Yotsuyu recruiting Aisho after he got cucked, like he'd been trying to get him to join for a while but that was what pushed him to do it. I think it's obvious Jobin is the main villain but it seems like there's still more side villains coming up, some might join Jobin and some might be sort of similar to the Assassination Team in Golden Wind in that they're against both the protagonists and the antagonists. Whatever we get next JoJolion is a fucking ride.
The plot was fine it just didn't really go anywhere we didn't know it wasn't going to. Giorno's goal was pretty straightforward, so we already know how it's going to end in some capacity, but the end doesn't really do much to tie it together into something great. It's a good plot that sort of peters off a little near the end and the finale just feels like formalities.
That'd be neat. I want to see what Speed King can do in combat other than give you a stroke if he gets too close. There's a lot of cool stuff you can do with heat but I want to see where Araki takes it. He makes even the dumbest fucking scenarios into something actually tense and interesting.
I'll go for the Bruno's D.A.R.E. commercial.
Looks like this for the moment
That'd be great. I love it when we see the antagonist fight someone other than the main cast. Too bad it doesn't happen that often, but hey, I guess that's what makes it special.
Mista flirting with Trish
and failing, Jolyne hugging a sad Emporia and cheering him up, Duwang gang hanging out outside of a convenience store or arcade, Giorno acting like an actual teenager like studying for finals because he's still at school despite joining the mafia, all three deadZeppellis interacting, or Bruno being a cool dude like always and the crew are ogling at him in amazement and admiration.
Those were OVAs of Part 3. They didn't adapt everything and only covered Part 3. They aren't critical viewing or anything but they're fun for the novelty value. There was also a 2007 Phantom Blood movie they did as well but it was reviewed really poorly and got a limited release and was never made available for purchase since it was so shameful. Because so few people saw it and it never got a home release, it's become somewhat of an urban legend amongst the fanbase since almost no footage of it exists online and we only know about it secondhand from people who actually saw it trashing it.
You don't have to announce your shit taste just because you're anon.
Nothing inherently. But western fans are bad af and it's all they read, all these meme culture bandwagoners are really hard to tolerate.
If stands are based on the soul, and Diavolo and Doppio are two different souls/Diavolo is the one with King Crimson, how could Doppio hear Aerosmith?
Giorno being DIO's son from Jonathan's body is no different than Josuke being Joseph's bastard son; Araki didn't want to write about Jotaro's descendants yet, so he came up with a different way to add JoJo's.
I like to believe that King Crimson is Doppio's stand as well, but he isn't aware of it and thus doesn't bring it out himself. I believe that Doppio could use KC in its entirety, but because Diavolo tells him he's only "lending" the arm and Epitaph, that Doppio only uses those parts.
Did he like it when his girlfriend moaned out 'Solido'?
what would you like to see in the part 5 epilogue when the anime rolls around? I think funerals for the deceased main characters, Trish starting a new life, and Giorno taking his first actions as the new boss would be nice
>"Giorno, you are now possibly the strongest power in all of Italy, what would you like to do in action of your step in power?"
>ban all drugs
>World Peace is achieved
Giorno would have been better if he realized that you can't just get rid of all drugs and instead made his goal to only sell the purest and safest stuff to adults while also teaching the public of their dangers.
Prove that you know more about Kakyoin's abilities than tumblr does.
Is it bad how despite as evil as the main villains in JoJo are i still consider Cioccolata to be the most evil - while the Main Villains are bad they at least had reasons for doing what they are doing even if those are selfish. Cioccolata is driven by his morbid curiosity and sadism to an unnatural degree
Part 5 Koichi is legal
thats still gay which is worse than pedophilia
Even when it's consensual and between two adults?
It came in the mail today.
Nothing like salty coffee.
