I'm really curious how they'll handle the art direction in part 5. When looking back on part 3, part 4 really is a lot more "cartoony", which I suppose fits the overall less serious tone of the part, but I hope they don't just carry that over to part 5.
Part 3 might've lacked some flair here and there, but I miss its much better backgrounds and shading which part 4 was lacking most of the time.

I think it's the pinnacle of that format of fights where both parties' powers are immediately made known, then are used in new inventive (either through multi-stand interactions, or the environment, or a biology textbook, or the bullshit that is White Album Gently Weeps) ways every two pages. It's like the more perfect version of a part 2 fight. No asspulls or new abilities like Star Finger or Star Platinum's The World, or fortunate interferences from off field like Metallica's death or most fights from Part 6. Just a nice balanced 2 vs 1 conceptual slugfest, like a powerlevel discussion done right. Then the using blood as a tool/weapon? Always cool as fuck. And the 『resolve』 in Mista fanning the fucking hammer into his own body?? God damn.
I bet Giorno was just standing barely out of frame watching for the longest time like the boss he is.

I did find the family tree fairly easily though, and looking at it, it seems like George II did have way more children than just Joseph in this universe, none of which have been detailed, leaving way more possibilities for new modern JoJos in future parts of the manga.

Stardust Crusaders anime then Diamond is Unbreakable anime. I'd recommend the manga over the anime though, the anime version of Part 2 is way better than the manga but after that the manga is still the superior option. SC and DiU anime aren't bad they just have tons of pacing issues and are when the series really starts coming into it's own and it just doesn't work quite as well animated as it does in print. Don't let me dissuade you from watching them, just keep that in mind. Also the anime has only completed the first four Parts, and it's like a third of the content the series has all up so you'll have to read eventually if you wanna keep going with the series. Most importantly have fun and don't rush it, the series is really easy to binge read but doing so really detracts from the experience.

Realistically how much longer do you think JJL has to go? I think for sure it's gonna be longer than SBR, but just how long I don't know. Damo's death felt like the end of a first act, since it was at that point that all the Higashikatas had finally had their introductory arcs and Josuke had figured out his identity and killed the guy who was responsible for all the shit that was happening to him. It seems like a good halfway point, or maybe only a third of the way if Araki set it up like DiU in that he'll write it for however long he wants to and intends to ride it out until he retires. There's still so many things that need answering, and every time we get answers we're left with twice as many questions.
