The fight vs vorg was great because of the final knockout combo. But I love the Hayami fight because Ippo was so nervous going in but then knocks him out in 1 round.

I liked Takamura vs Hawk the most. It's one of few interesting fights in the series, as far as I'm concerned, and it does not have particularly horrible pacing in the anime.

This is actually my least favorite fight in the show.

The premise of Ippo winning because he was able to stop his Dempsey midswing doesn't make a lot of sense and wasn't even cool.

In the animation, the sound effects sounded really weak. Sawamura is supposed to be one of the fastest and hardest jabbers but they just sounded really unsatisfying.
