why do people dislike her? i thought it was very relatable when she had trouble finding a balance between slacking off and practicing, and when she was devastated at the thought of her seniors graduating, and her trouble fully letting go of her self-consciousness in the group.

also all the songwriting and home practice the girls put in would have meant nothing if they didnt practice together. the only reason they succeeded is because theyre all somehow amazingly gifted. even so, yui fucked up immediately when she had to play in a different style at the wedding despite being a savant.

its fun to hang out with bandmates, but its also fun and rewarding to practice together and tighten things up and eliminate mistakes and improve together. the series is only as good as it is because azusa is there to provide contrast, otherwise it would just be a monotonous series where they lean back and drink tea forever.
