Actually, Vegeta learns about them from the fight with Raditz. Frieza snooped on them when Vegeta and Nappa identified Piccolo as a Namek so he's still gonna go to Namek to search for immortality. Namek has to happen yes or yes, everything else can be avoided with a pre-emptive strike though.

See, but that's no fun. For starters, Naruto doesn't have a jobber such as Yamcha who has such a famous death scene and status as a jobber. That's the fun of this thing, seeing how the Isekai'ed guy managed to save himself and the series despite becoming the most infamously useless character in the series and seeing him pull through situations he should not be able to because of his knowledge of the series. But the keypiece here is that Yamcha's survival on this arc is a extremely minor event in the series, it does not affect anything in the long-run, so things more or less continue the same and as such the reader can maintain a sense of familiary with the story.

What could you do with Naruto? Obito Isekai and prevent the whole series from happening? Sakura Isekai and stop sucking Sasuke's cock 24/7? There's nothing remotely similar, and all those things would arguably just finish the series as a much faster pace.

Meanwhile, Isekai Yamcha survived, a seemingly minor thing, and now everything went off the rail. That's why it's fun seeing this dude, because after the hook of "Yamcha survives the Saiyan battle" ends now instead we are presented with another hook of "Oh shit Yamcha fucked up and now everything is different and now there's another Isekai'ed dude". At one point you're bardock, slowly becoming higher levels of super saiyan while fighting to return to future trunks' timeline, where future gohan survived, and... it makes my head hurt.

XV3 will likely go full on alternate stories, since XV1 followed mostly the main storyline, XV2 added a bunch of the movies, and DLC for both added events from Super and GT.
Basically all they have left is crazy what if stories.

This is my bet.
A) Kami's the one noticing it, not king kai, which suggests it's an earthling
B) in style with the story, it needs to be someone who was considered "lame" because he wasn't as powerful as the rest, but can now become stronger because of his knowledge of the story

Mostly it's going to be someone Yamcha eventually has to fight.

One more chapter left suggests it's a cell saga character

They could always wait until Frieza kills the nameks, ruining his chances at getting immortality, then wish them back.
Yamcha's son from the future will warn everyone about the androids. He'll look just like Trunks but with different eyes. But won't go SS obviously.
When they go to fight the androids, Mr Satan will appear, and beats up 19 (since Vegeta's gone). Yamcha will make sure Goku brings his medicine and takes it before anything goes wrong.
Gero unleashes 16,17,18, and everyone has to fight them.
But Satan has the shut down button and Yamcha has to fight him to keep him from destroying them, claiming they are good people.
Satan and Yamcha argue about continuity issues and everyone's confused.

Okay, so let's see what shit happens :

-Frieza might not know about namek and their Dragon Balls since Vegeta and Nappa may not have spoken about Namek, but by that same coin they might b-line to Earth instead.
-Cell and the Androids are the most easily circumvented enemy, but Yamcha might not want to fuck over fellow jobber Krillin's ultimate reward of marrying 18. Potential shenanigans might be 16 being reprogrammed to be an ally or even Gero turned to the side of good.
-Buu saga will be the toughest shit, since they can't circumvent a lot of this shit. Maybe Yamcha could befriend Buu instead and simply cause him not to split off his evil side (or get Gohan to actually seal the deal instead of getting absorbed)
-Beerus could be surprisingly easy to deal with. Bring up Zen Oh like "This planet is under the eternal protection of Zen Oh" or wish back Raditz, Nappa, and Bardock to get the Super Saiyan God ritual done years ahead of time along with the whole God Ki shit

Frieza might go to earth, that's true, but the mere fact that they found a namek on earth is what told frieza that he needed to go to namek to get the dragon balls. That's why by the time Vegeta got there he had collected so many.
So Frieza would definitely be headed to Namek. And he wont get his wish there, so he might give up, thinking it was a hoax, or head to earth.
If he heads to earth, they'll have a problem, but that might actually be a good time to introduce the RoSaT.
Goku powered up to 50% Frieza from saiyan saga in a week.
Considering he's not going to be hospitalized for a month this time, if Yamcha gives him a heads up, he'll likely be at a similar level by the time Frieza arrives on earth a few months later.
But he won't have the ginyu force with him. Dodoria and Zarbon will likely have been killed by Vegeta on Namek. Maybe Vegeta tags along, and then betrays frieza.
Either way, Goku should be strong enough to go SS. Or possibly even strong enough to attempt KK50, which should do the trick too.

Yamcha secretly blows up Gero's lab. No androids/Cell.

Buu Saga doesn't deal with a dead Goku, and everyone's a lot less powerful.

Babidi shows up, but it's taking forever to collect energy.

Dabura shows up, but of course he's too strong, so yamcha teaches Goku the fusion dance.

Piccolo died originally in that fight, and since a guy being reincarnated as Piccolo likely would have started at Radditz, or at best at the tournament, he wouldn't have had as much time as Yamcha to get stronger.
Not to mention Piccolo would have had to train Gohan. If he left and trained on his own, trying to get stronger (like he probably did the first time) he likely would still have been killed, because he would have been trying to save his own skin, letting the others die first.
Not to mention, Yamcha got to his spaceship first, which means he couldn't travel to namek to fuse with nail.

Did anyone here play the Legend of Super Saiyan on the SNES? It's pretty neat and you could deviate from the story somewhat at times.

In particular, with a few exceptions (Goku against Raditz, Piccolo against Nappa) characters didn't die when the story demanded, but only if they were killed in a fight under your control. So it was possible (though not that easy) to have any combination of Z fighters survive the Nappa fight. You could even have the whole gang (including Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha) survive and go to Namek with you.

If Vegeta survives the Freeza fight and sees Goku transform into a Super Saiyan he goes into a tard rage and also transforms into a Super Saiyan giving you a final bonus boss.

With some planning, Kaioken abuse, and luck you can even kill Freeza without transforming into a Super Saiyan.

There was also a shameless Zenkai mechanic in the game which let you (with luck or save scumming - it was easy to die trying to abuse this) boost Saiyan characters ridiculously.

I love it when a game lets me go off the rails organically like this and Dragon Ball could use more of it.

Knowing about how the world goes as Kira would be great, since you can befriend Ichigo quicker by joining in the team of Renji and Byakuya when they first go looking for Rukia. Through constantly meeting with the group he can get introduced to Kisuke and find about how to obtain bankai, and collaborate with Kisuke, Byakuya and the older captains to flush out Aizen's plan before it comes to fruition.
