Still trying to do handwritten sfx. I can follow the shape of the bubble, but it just doesn't look good at all.
I need to DL some Fakku rips to see what professionally done sfx look like.

Fakku's style guidelines make it look like everything is edited by the same person, pretty much disregarding the style of SFX in the original work.
I'm not saying what they make doesn't look good, it does, and I understand they need to adhere to guidelines for efficiency, but they shouldn't be considered the be all end all of hentai editing.

In your pic, I think the example on the right looks the best. The other two look too blurry and not 'crispy' enough, like the hardness isn't set at 100%. Also there should be an exclamation every time there's っor ッ

I always use fonts. There's like only 5 to 10 percents handwritten sounds in bubbles and most of the time they looks the same, so you can disregard that in favor of similar fonts to use every time you see appropriate sfx.

It requires a lot of time first of all. Script similar to CAF that could simply connect straight lines would be already huge improvement. And in this case you can train NN to being better and better at it.

You don't even need to crowdsource PSDs like that.
Just take panels with art that doesn't actually need redrawing, throw some random text on top of it, and provide both the typeset/original as though they were original/redrawn.

I suggest you to draw these SFX with the pencil tool on high resolutions, then scale it down. The brush tool is too smooth and looks unnatural.

They're have all zippyshare, just throw them into JDownloader to get past that shitty AD they added to it.

I'm doing it using Firefox's responsive design mode and inspect tool. You open the inspect tool, check the configuration_pack.json for the original resolution, set it in design mode, and use the integrated screen cap function.
It's quite fast, but I'm lazy.
