This? I feel like almost every fight with Shioon was decent in New Waves but that may be because I was willing to accept anything after the shit pacing and so many chapters of NOTHING.

Really all The Breaker fights are great, it's just not that good plot-wise.

Though I do hope it will come back in my lifetime to see a tournament in which Shion becomes the harem king of the martial arts world.

Ah right. Yeah it was pretty hype. I think The Breaker was fucking great, nice plot (lots of shit unexplained, sure) and perfect pacing. New Waves was something else though, jesus christ.

New Waves had potential, but they took away the best part of the original series, which was the Nine Arts Dragon. How is that supposed to work.
